    My Trip Report

Hi Everybody. So I went back and forth about posting on this trip. Normally I do a live report, but wasn't sure if I'd do it this time. Well my enthusiasm for posting live quickly left after I started to get smacked around by Lady Luck. But now that it's over I'll post what happened with a few pics I took.

My birthday was Thursday the 7th and went to the Beanery for a few beers with some chums. My head hit the pillow about 10pm planning to leave about 6. Well I was wide awake at 4 so decided to drive across the desert.

I was so early I thought I'd stop at M Resort as I remember Firstkill talking about the place. I got there and signed up for a player's card. Place was a morgue. Quickly dropped 350 at craps and then decided to use my $5 in free play. $200 later I decided Firstkill is a crack pot and left. Jk fk.

Drove to NYNY and of course my room wasn't ready so I slotted around the floor and then had lunch. At this point I'm down about $1,500 and not in the best of moods.. Why oh why do I go to Vegas?

So I finally get a text from VIP check in that my room is ready. It's 230 pm, I need a shower and damn it I need some positive cash flow. Get my key and kit and head up to my room. Well my Host really did me right. Put me in this big suite. Here are some pics

So after a shower and a little cat nap I head down to the sports book for baseball bets. I throw a little over 600 down on straight bets and parlays and all of a sudden my wallet is a couple grand in the hole. My luck has to turn right?

Back to my old favorite Walking Dead machine. I dropped $600 in the bastard this morning without even getting a bonus!!! Bam!!! Down 200 more. Shit. On to Buffalo. Down 300. A bit of wizard of oz by mlife desk finally produces 150 profit. And since I'm right there activate my $600 free play. Still kinda pissed so head to craps table.

I buy in for $400. First shooter goes 10-15 mins. Second shooter goes 10-15 mins. Third shooter point five seven. Still, I'm looking ok and Birthday Boy has the dice. 20 minutes later after hitting the all talk and being the 6 away from ALL my rack looks like this.

Time to have dinner with my host. Color up to this.

How's that Rocky? Stevie D back with a vengeance!!!

Like the pics of the room. I'll be there Friday. Host booked me the same room and UFC 187 tickets. Can't wait to be there. Who is your host?

We share the same first name, same birthday, and same main stay casino, NYNY. After 60+ stays at NYNY and 20 over birthdays, my recommendation is to take that win and....oh wait, this is not live....Go get 'Em! You can do what I have not been able to accomplish :)

So we eat at Il Fornaio. I've been sucking beers for few hours and Tom is running late so I order a white pizza with chicken.
    It was nice. Very thin.
Gino, the chef, was going to make me this dish I love but wasn't on the menu, but he was going to rock in rio with his Mrs and Tom was still not there. I just ordered two of them and a salad.

It was awesome. Tom finally showed and I got the candle and song from staff(which I hate). So that food plus 3 large Chiantis and I ask for the bill and Gino took care of it . How awesome is that?

Go collect my sports bets making 130 and head to hi limit lounge for a cigar. So the beer and wine and cigar all swirling through me I feel friggin invincible. I'm gonna make that last craps session look like amateur hour!!! Down a grand. Fucking cigar. Off to bed knowing I'm up having been way down. Great feeling.

So I woke up mid-morning went down to the Sportsbook to grab the MLB sheet to study over breakfast at America. The food there is adequate, but I like to sit at the bar and come up with a plan while I eat.

I invested just under 700 at the book and hit the Walking Dead machine. So a quick 200 down chasing zombies and it feels like I'm down a grand. After the WD I realize something. I'll play a machine and always put 100 in to start. Every so often you hit a bonus on an early spin. So far this trip I haven't hit a bonus without putting at least 200 in. Decide to switch it up and drop 300 playing double deck BJ. I need a win so hit center bar to play half my FP. After a couple beers I turn 300 into 225. I guess you could look at it as a loss, but it's a free couple Hundo to me. Time for a nap.

The first time I stepped into Cosmo it was about 9am on a weekday. Even the mythical $5 craps existed then. We wrote them off after that until I learned about the loss rebate (RIP). Glad we took that rebate!

Expecting M resort to have life around 9 am on a Friday is asking a lot too. You might like the place better at a more peak gaming time. As a craft beer snob, I have to love the place. 96 beers on tap!

    Good report so far!
