Just want to say that if anyone is into classic rock I STRONGLY suggest that you go and see CSN. 2 1/2 hours of just fantastic rock n roll. Blew the roof off the Kings theatre in Brooklyn tonight with a great mix of classics and some very good new material. Just an excellent show and I have been going to see them for over forty years some I am not easily impressed but tonight all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! They truly were great

Yea, that's a shame! Some of the best music ever made was the four of them in harmony.

That is true . But even without Young CSN are a group that has unparalleled talent which was on full display last night. First time I saw them was way back in ' 74 ( concert before they announced that Nixon resigned) and probably seen them in various combinations close to 100 times so my opinion may be biased but I can truly state that in my opinion Stills has never been better on guitar ( voice has noticeably diminished though) but Nash and Crosbys voices are still strong, sound great and the 3 of them put on a great show with a lot of interaction with the audience. It is not a just get the paycheck musicianship. Well worth the admission price

No doubt Young brings a certain something to the table. Saw them in 1999 @MSG ( That was my daughters first concert at the ripe old age of 8. The following month was at a Britney Spears show now that's a culture shock!) again in 2000 the CSNY 2 k tour. He and Stills really push each other to reach plateaus they normally wouldn't reach when playing apart. That's what really makes it special . It becomes evident that when the 4 are together Crosby & Nash take a back seat and are content to watch what happens( well maybe not content accept it maybe a better phrase)

I read Nash's book ....came out last year ?
    Can't remember the title ?
    *
He writes a bit about how bad a drug habit Crosby had.
His story about a kid's mother - trying to get her young son's
songs heard - by any of The Hollies - is a CLASSIC !!
    That kid became "10cc."

Grund. Renovation was fantastic....... In conversation with one of the ushers I believe he said they sunk about 95 million into the place. Crosby even commented at the start of the show and I quote " the place is fuking gorgeous". Which it truly was.

I would love to see that! When I lived in the area the theater was getting very seedy. I'm glad they put some TLC into it.

I also remember the Albemarle down the street. (Has to be the most misspelled and mispronounced theater, and street, in the world!) :)

But back to the subject, too bad C and Y are spatting! I always enjoyed most all of their music, from all of them, individually or collectively.
