    My Trip Report

My wife, daughter and I are flying out to the Atlantis next Friday 5/22-5/26 for our 12 year anniversary. We have a 2 bedroom Regal suite (thnx Packer!) in the Royal tower. We have early dinner reservations at casa d' angelo, seafire steakhouse and NOBU but hope we can find something for our daughter to eat there (any recs are welcome). Mesa grill at the cove will be closed that weekend for some dumb reason during a major holiday weekend.

This will be my wife and I's 6th trip to Atlantis and im hoping to do a semi live tr while there. Will try to upload pics and updates as long as I have some sort of phone/wifi service. I will ask Packer how he was able to do his.

Hoping the new high limit room and sports book are open, excited to see the new renovations as well as baha mar. Also have tix to see Chelsea Handler and Bon Jovi while we are there but most likely going solo since the kiddo is there. I hope to be able to report back. We will actually be staying in baltimore next thursday to catch our early friday morning flight out of BWI.

Hope I can do some sort of updates in the room with wifi at least.

Good luck my friend. You can get WiFi at Atlantis. Its expensive but about the same as Vegas hotels fees.

Ask the Host to find out about MESA, because the last time I was there they said the same thing but it turned out Bobby Flay was there and would cook for clients but you had to get your reservations in early as all tables was full so they said it was closed. I was able to get my host to get me table but it was late and the last seating. Turned out better as Bobby made it out to visit the guest at the tables.

Still think The COVE :bang: I've called you and the wife but with the Daughter guess you want to be closer to the pool. Going to miss seeing you in Vegas the following weekend but that is too much to go to Atlantis then Vegas.

I will ask the host, but it sounds like it really is closed because i made the dinner reservations awhile back. I wish we were in the cove and have stayed there a few times but want to be closer to all the activities for my daughter without taking the shuttles as you know. I think it will be better for us this way.

Royal tower is really where the action is. You can also walk either way to get to the restaurants. If you can eat at dune at the one and only! It's awesome! You will like the room. It ain't the cove but you haven't stayed there yet and again it is in the center of everything. Call to get the international rates for the cell like we talked about. Messages too.
Have fun and happy anniversary!- May the next 24 years be even better than the last 12! Have a blast and pound those tables.
Oh, and Atlantis allows you to split 8s 12 times! Lol.

Weird about Mesa. I have reservations on Thursday night that I made a few weeks ago. Im goning to be s.o.l if it's closed.

On a side note supposedly they're rolling out a single resort fee in place of the current hodge podge of charges. It includes wifi with no additional charges. Good luck on the trip!

How old is your daughter? We will be taking our 11 year old son the end of June-our 4th year in a row. He loves going to the kids club at night. Wifi has been good in our room. Cartoon Network is there and they have a fun obstacle course in the lagoon-wear your water shoes!
Our son likes Carmines but it is a ton of food.

Is she independent? They have cute things in the kids club during the day. The pool by the pyramid is zero entry and there are usually lots of smaller kids there. The snack bars by the pools have pizza, chicken fingers, fries, all the fun junk food for kids. There is a place in the beach tower like build-a-bear and also a place to paint pottery. We enjoyed it on a very rainy day. There is a kiddie area around the royal tower with small waterslides

and shallow water. Snack bar there as well with plenty of beverage opportunities!

Sounds awesome! We already have the dolphin adventure booked but all of this info is great! Gives my wife and I other things to do with her besides the normal things.

Yah Ill be in town Thur-Mon. I'm excited for some good weather. I'll probably be camped out at the Cove gaming area everday lol, so I'd absolutely shoot some craps / baccarat if you make it that way. I've got a larger group but not too many gamblers in the bunch.

My wife did the shallow water dolphin experience last trip and only had glowing thing's to say about it.

lol, I thought those tables back there during NYE were just temporary. If that's really their new high limit area it's a bit soft.
