I picked up my Galaxy 4 tablet (in white) yesterday. I haven't used it yet but reviews look decent. I find it odd though that they're giving us a $170 tablet. I think the items last year were worth more but maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I don't really have much use for a tablet though so I obviously preferred being able to choose my gift even if the options weren't great.

I have a four year old daughter with a Nexus 7 from a few years ago. I guess now she'll have two tablets. [emoji6]

the past gifts for 7* that you got online was $150 or less and the tablet varies in price where you buy it from

    I googled it, it's about $170 everywhere.

Hmm, thought they were more. I still preferred to have options.

The camera. In retrospect I should have ordered the carry on luggage.

I ordered the Weber portable BBQ grill last year. It has a value of about $170. We gave our old one to a nephew. It was a nice gift from CET.

This year, the offer of the Galaxy tablet is stupid to begin with -- how dare they assume we would all want one to begin with, but then to make it an offer instead of an "appreciation gift" that they give to us separately from any other offer is just a slap in the face.

One of the dates you can pick it up is during the Vegas 7 Stars Signature Event in August. I could pick up the tablet OR I can use my 7 Stars annual trip, but not both. Last year, they let us add a normal offer on top of the Signature Event. I ended up with $1500 in free play. This year, they're not allowing that.

I'm pretty anxious to use up my 7 Stars benefits and move on. Cosmo gives me more for less play than CET now that they've cut offers so drastically.

My host sent me a text saying that I forgot to pick up my tablet from my home casino. So I drove there to get it. I didn't even know I was supposed to pick it up.

Cosmo gives me crap offers. I don't play there that much but I usually put in an hour or two each trip. I booked there once in a comp, took $400 in freeplay and turned it into $1,000 and didn't play there much the rest of the trip. So I think I ruined it for myself for a while. :)

Maybe I'll book there in the future and then do a back end comp. I'm still enjoying PH and CET offers though so I don't have a reason to switch yet.

Last year I got the 25" Samsonite Spinner luggage. Really glad I did.

I didn't go to my home property for the 7 star tablet and was told that I had to be there to pick it up. You are lucky your host kept it for you.

I wonder if I could still pick one up at Vegas at the 7 star signature event? (Probably not - since Vegas is not my home property).

Yep, I should have gotten that.

Vegas isn't my home property either. Mine was at the Promotions desk at Harrahs Rincon.

I have offers for the tablet over several dates. One of the dates coincides with the 7 star event in August. My home property is in Vegas. In April I received at offer to pick up a tablet in Windsor. I have only been to Windsor 1 weekend in the past year. You should inquire with your host.

    Thanks!!

Wonder which host I should inquire with. The only host I have in Vegas is an inside marketing 9-5 host.
