    My Trip Report

Going for a quick weekend trip to spend some of the money I won 2 weeks ago on shopping. Going to try and stick to a $100 per day budget. My aim is to cycle it through as many times as possible for fun and free drinks. I'll post how long I was able to make the $100 last each day and if I lost control and spent more than planned :poke: If I'm up $200 at any point I plan to stop gambling right away. Wish me luck!

It's what I'm used to doing. Drank a few hundred bucks worth of craft beers on it too last month. G/f is more like $50/day. We never really play tables though.

But seeing OP, I'd be impressed if he'd actually could do it. Dropping betting levels significantly is hard for lots of people.

Oh yeah I'm not saying the budget isn't crazy because my girlfriend would be in that $50-100 range. But with the way Alex has played before it could be a tough go

Good luck! I try to stay at about that level- or at least quit when I'm down $100. Playing $5 BJ.

$100 / day is plenty. All you need to do is split 8's twelve times and win on your first hand. Then take that money and parlay with 14 straight winning bacc hands. And top it off with a hand pay at your first slot pull.

Just curious....I've assumed that you are CET Diamond based on your posts. How do you get to Diamond if you play $100/day?
I could be wrong. I don't think you've stated your tier. If your bankroll is $100/day, I'd love to know how you build tier credits......I'd like to give it a shot if you have any tips.

When I started going to Vegas we budgeted $60/day for food and gambling. Ho Dogs and $0.99 strawberry shortcakes were staples back then.

The only real way $100 per day will last for gambling, is if you stick to single-line nickle video poker, and absolutely NO table games...not saying it can't be done...just strict rules to it.

Pretty much the same for us Tom. How things have changed!

I remember my first Vegas trip for a convention. In flew in on Wednesday, meeting ran Wed-Sun. Wife flew in on Friday very late due to weather delays (Jan flying from Wisconsin). I had budgeted $40 per day for gambling. Was staying at IP, I didn't do much gambling until the wife showed up. I had called her and suggested that she might want to hit the bank for a bit more cash than we had planned on and than I had brought with.

We had a great time low rolling the mid strip and were hooked. We've made 2-3 trips per year since then. I think that the first trip was in 1994......

I ran $40 up to over $3k on my first trip to Vegas when I was super broke. It can be done. Best of luck!
