We live in NE Pennsylvania. My wife got an invite to a pair of free slot tournaments at Sands Casino/Bethlehem. I am assuming it is a win/win situation for her, being as they are 'free'. This would be her first experience with playing in a slot tournament. It has cash and free play prizes. It is a 3-minute Sit n Go format? How are the slot tournaments run?
    Thanks for any information...

I don't know how you would phrase it was "win/win".

You sit at a machine for 3 minutes and press the button/pull the handle. Points accumulate (there is no payout).

There are 1, 2, or 3 rounds spread across 1,2, or 3 days.

All the casino is doing is "getting you in there". Payouts are usually 1:5 or 1:10 (100 entries would pay 5 or 10 spots)

Sometimes you have one session. Sometimes multiple sessions. As said, the main reason they do this is to get people into the casino to play.

Fun? Yea, a little bit. Something to do. And, somebody has to win.

I understand the "Get you in there" so she will be spending money. :rolleyes2: I was figuring that it isn't costing her anything to play in it And she might win something. I am guessing she'll try it just to see what it is about.
