Hi! In another thread on the forum I found this link: http://www.jokerswildcasino.com/play/table-games My wife and I are big fans of off strip casino's and haven't visited Joker's Wild yet. The link says the casino has - 3 Card Poker $2 minimum - $1 minimum on craps and 10X odds all the time - Roulette 25¢ Weekdays* $1 minimum. 50¢ Weekends* $2 minimum - $3 Blackjack - $3 Blackjack Shoe - Royal Match 21 Any reviews on this place? Do they offer those games the whole day, or only on specific hours? For instance: I would love to play some $2 3CP or $3 BJ, but I'm afraid that if I'll drive there they won't offer those games... Any info on the hours these games are offered? Thanks!! PS. What's royal match 21??
Royal Match 21 is a BJ side bet; same suit on your 1st two cards = 3:1, K/Q matched = 10:1 http://www.blackjackforumonline.com/content/royalmatch.htm
it is a very small place, btw, it is owned by Boyd Gaming but does not use the BConnected comp card and the one time I went there a while back all the tables were full the whole pit is one dice table and maybe 4 other tables http://www.jokerswildcasino.com/play/table-games i think that the only reason people go there is if they live close by and then don't have to drive far, or at all
It's kind of odd that they have their own rewards card (Prime Rewards) but IMHO it's not really worth it unless you happen to be driving by. I'm also a fan of the off strip casinos, I do most of my gambling at them.
It also has a pretty good cheap breakfast. My parents home casino is Sam's Town but they drive to Joker's Wild for breakfast. A couple of years ago on a father / son trip we were driving by the casino when my dad asked if I wanted to stop for breakfast. I replied keep driving. Mark
Yeah they have a $1.89 breakfast special from 6 am -11 am seved daily 2 eggs, 2 strips bacon/sausage hash browns and toast.
If you are focused on craps, you need to call ahead to be sure the game is being offered. It does not run all the time. When it does, it is really grand. That may be true for the games you mentioned as well. You should go by car. It is possible by bus, but that is not as easy as you might think. The BHX does not serve that route. And if you have a car and you don't like the place, there is always the Skyline and Eastside Cannery and Sam's Town just down the road.
Thanks for all the kind replies!! We have a car and will be driving around a lot, so we'll go check the place out. That breakfast is crazy cheap, but I think we'll pass
Don't skip the food solely due to the price. I'm not saying it is worth a side trip but if you happen to be there the food is equivalent to most mid range coffee shops. I tried because I was curious and we happened to be there for a match play.
Hahaha! I do actually Do you really still want to read it? I think I must have soms more pics from the last 2 nights! Let me know, I'll finish it if you'd like!
