I just read that Caesars Palace charges guests $13 for coffee supplies for the in-room coffee maker. I know that CET is bankrupt, but this is just pathetic. Anyone know if I could somehow bring my own coffee supplies so I don't have to pay for it? I could use a good coffee hack, because I don't want to deal with this idiocy.

Bring your own Keurig pods. Sugar. If you use cream, guess you can bring those powdered packs.

You can also use an instant coffee. My preference is Starbucks Via. I have my own insulated coffee cup.

I do run a few cups of water through the system to be sure it's clean.

I always bring my own single cup coffee maker, everywhere I go...even on my cruises.

    It works for me. :licklips:

Why blame it on the bankruptcy? K cups can be frickin expensive! And they are offering more than the standard blends for that fee. Bring your own K cups and other supplies. They are starting to do more sample packs so you may not need to invest in a full case.

I guess no one yet mentioned the in-room coffee maker hack at Caesars that let's you hack into the network and control two of the slot machines in the high limit slot room in the casino? That's what I though you were asking about!

i took this May 2014, not sure if prices changed...only time i looked at it this weekend I was really drunk, ordered $118 worth of room service food and passed out before it arrived...shit happens

its been said many times though, bring your own k-cups if coffee is your thing or bring your own brand coffee and use one of those reusable k-cups

Looks like I'm going to pick up some k-cups and non-dairy creamer before I go. I'm also a little annoyed that the entire fridge in the room is taken up by mini-bar stuff. They don't even have a mini-bar at Caesars AC, so you can actually store stuff in the fridge like milk for your morning coffee (which they don't charge for at Caesars AC.)

Don't they charge extra for that, though? I heard they charge you unless you need it for medicine.

Usually request a frig no matter where we stay and have yet to pay a fee.
Not sure if its because a host made the reservations or not.

If I didn't see this thread, I would not have known.
Stayed at PH in March and they had the old coffee makers with the single bags but no charge.

Why is Caesars charging for their coffee?

Is it clearly stated (like the mini bar) that if you use it expect to pay???

Caesars have Keurig machines and they and the K Cups are more expensive than the what they offer at other hotels. It is clearly stated that you have to pay. But now that I think about it, I believe you can get K-cups at the Starbucks in the Augustus Tower for cheaper.
