Used to be our Vegas tradition to have corned beef hash at the old Bill's Gambling Hall in the early morning/late evening after a blackjack session. With it now closed, where would you recommend to get our fix downtown as we are staying there in a week and a half?

I believe Hash House serves it.

Dupar's at the Golden Gate or Magnolia's at the QQQQ or the D Grille.

    Dupar's and magnolia's are open 24 hrs.

One of the buffets in that area (Flamingo? Harrahs? both?) has it, I know I've seen it there.

OP was asking about Downtown. Flamingo and harrahs are on the Strip.

Not downtown, but Mon Ami in Paris has an excellent corned beef hash.

The best CBH I've had in Vegas was at DuPar's. Just the right amount of crisp and grease. :drooling:

Great post! My husband hates it, but I love it. I never thought to seek it out in Vegas. Yum!

My guilty pleasure is made from scratch corned beef hash for breakfast, it has to be crispy from the flat top grill, two over easy eggs, rye toast....the deli style with a real crust. I sometimes seek it out via Yelp or Foursquare when traveling.

I tried the corned beef hash at the Market St. Café at the Cal and it was pretty good. There was that all important crust on the edges that I like.

Whatever you do, do not eat the corned beef hash at the MSS buffet. I swear all they did was open up countless cans of Libby's corned beef hash and glop it all into the tray and heat it up. There is no crust anywhere, just greasy, gooey glop.

I like corned beef hash made from scratch.
