Which casinos (if any) will alow me to chuck my coins into a coinstar type machine and get a TITO for gambling?

i went in the Riviera today, but could not find the coinstar machine anymore. I've had some massive wins in the past by changing all my coins into a TITO there and then gambling it.

I've got a big pile of coins that I want rid of (including loads of pennies) so don't want to be lugging them around looking for a coinstar in a shop, just want to chuck them straigh into a casino in the easiest way possible

    Many thanks for your help

The one coin redemption machine I saw was at Bellagio - don't know what the fees were. The best option is to go to a casino with coin based slots like Mermaids. I don't know if they take dimes but they cash in everything else.

I always take my coins, when the bottle gets full, to the bank and do a coin deposit. No charge, no fuss. Most banks of any size will now have a coin machine and do this regularly.

Depends on where you live I guess. Most banks where I am from won't do that unless you are depositing the money into a savings account. Otherwise they tell you they will happily accept rolled coins. Makes no sense.

i'm from the UK, so can't take American coins to the bank, a casino with coinstar to TITO would be perfect (Like Riviera had)

I was shocked when we moved to Vegas to find most banks didn't have coin counter machines. Back here every bank has one and there is no charge if you are a customer. Coinstar was a new concept to me, because before we moved, I had never seen one before.

I always throw my change into a container every day and cash it in before a vacation. My bank will do it for free no problem. Doesn't Coinstar charge a fee?

If you want cash, there is a fee. However, if you take the money in the form of a gift card to Home Depot and several other places, then no fee. That is my knowledge from 2010, things may have changed.

Really? Some banks will not take coins for free? This is new to me.

My credit union has a Coinstar machine at the branch I use and does not charge a fee for CU members.

Ya know, now that I I think about it, the local Horseshoe here had (still has????) a self-service coin machine. If you would take it in slot play it would give you full value. If you wanted cash there was a charge. I'm not sure if it's still there or if other CET casinos have/had them as well.

In LV, the old Westward Ho used to have self-service coin machines. I swear they would come up short most of the time!

I'm VERY surprised that any major banks don't have them. I can even remember back decades ago in the 1970s when the old Manufacturers Hanover had a special coin teller window with a coin machine. It's not rocket science anymore.

The Cal has one that only does quarters and Palms has one that does it all. IIRC The Cal is dollar for dollar and Palms was 9% take.

Cool, the Palms will do then, don't care about the fee, just want to get rid of it all.

Is it a self serve machine and is it located near the cashier?

    Thanks :)

LOL, so Palms does better on a coin machine than they do on VP and many slots! :)

I'm not sure of anything on the strip. Just cash in the nickels and quarters and you'll be set downtown. The D takes both denoms and The cal takes quarters. If you're on boulder highway Skyline and jokers wild take nickels and quarters. Many of the locals casinos have coinstars if you're stopping by any of them.,

I'm from the UK, I pay for everything in cash over here, else I would have to pay a fee every time I use my credit card, and over a few hundred transactions, that would be alot
