I see three things that pretty bad with myVegas right now.

    1. The shift from comps to coupons.
    2. The reduction of daily chip farming (essentially teasing the gamers into consider chip buying).
    3. A "feeling" of a change in the house-edge on slot and blackjack play (favoring myVegas obviously).

Anyone else agree? If so, which of these three frustrates you the most?

    Agree with all three.

Number 1 bothers me the most. PlayStudios almost seems desperate to get people to buy chips, even though they are rolling in cash. Give us some better rewards!

Do you realize that Playstudios aren't in charge of the rewards? I mean they give them out as they please, sure, but the partners themselves choose what they give away. If it was up to PS, there probably would be penthouse suites with 10k FP etc.

I think it is just an excuse at this point to say that Playstudios isn't the one that gives out the Rewards. If they truly are doing $80 Million a year in Chip Sales, they need to rethink things if they are going to keep that going. They got to where they are by giving away high end Rewards at MGM Properties. People aren't going to throw down $80 Million a year in real money to win One night in a "Deluxe" Room at Excalibur...

So true! I had planned on chip purchasing if necessary to get some cool comps, but just not worth it! I can handle the lower chips every day, a bonus of 2x experience when i have no chips, whatever.... But take away the carrot? This donkey aint walking no more!

As far as slots go, they've been passing out for me like never before this week. I went from 10 million chips up to close to 50 million right now. Not sure how I'm going to spend the LPs though which I totally agree with you on.

You can always fly out to to Shaq's place to play a pick up game with Shaq BCMike. Give you something to spend your 20,000,000 Lp's on. Although he "May, or May not" be there!

How is that just an excuse? Even if they were getting 100 trillion a day from chip sales, it still doesn't affect MLife who are in charge of MGM comps, just like I said. Playstudios will be disappointed if the chip sales drop, of course, but the rewards aren't in their hands. Period.

Because they are totally unable to take that money from chips sales and compensate mlife so that rewards stay awesome, mlife gets the $ they want for their product and myvegas peeps are happy?

That sounds like a cute idea but it'll never happen. At least not to the extent you'd hope.

If you are doing $80 million a year in revenue and want to keep it up. They may literally have to spend $10 million a year purchasing rewards from MGM to stay in business. Because as it stands now this is probably going to die off.

So far they've only increased their revenue even though the MGM rewards have gone downhill since day 1. Even if there were no rewards there would be more than enough of idiots buying chips every day and that's why Candy Crush is making over a billion a year.

No , You missed the biggest change. Half the rewards ARE NOT from MGM anymore. Pretty soon they wouldn't be on the dime for anything.

The simplest way to fight their cutbacks would not to buy chips. But a lot of people have extra $$ to spend on this game so I doubt that will ever happen. FWIW I wish I was one of those people, (see rating under avatar LOL ).

Most people aren't smart enough to see what has happened here burdog. I see posts every day. "What do you mean I can only redeem one Room Reward? I called them and they told me I could only book one night?" Even low rollers like myself are starting to turn up their noses at the list of Coupons on myVegas. Either they will see a huge downturn from here or they won't. But there is no way they can keep growing and doing what they were doing with MGM's support. Which they clearly no longer have. I am not going to spend a bunch of time and real money to win a Pizza Topping at Monte Carlo!!! For some people it is still worth it. For me, I used to love myVegas and tell everyone about. Now I don't tell anyone. I will use up my current Lp's on my next trip and then I think I am mostly done, unless it gets better again in the future. Which at this point is highly doubtful!

And if the "idiots" out there are not as a big a number as you think they are, and the numbers go down, and they lose the customer base, that's not so easy to get back. Double Down casino is a *WAY* better slot from IGT then my Vegas slots. And Candy Crush is way better at challenging a player. As the rewards dry up, so will their customer base, less people will result in less revenue etc etc. It wouldn't take much to bring other things on board that would make it fun again and tempting for coin purchases.

Tokennut, I agree that it wouldn't take much to bring players back to myVegas and get them engaged again. But Playstudios seem way to stuck on their model of making their Reward Partners give away the Comps or discounts. I think they will need to be the ones to start offering the rewards eventually, because this will no longer be viable for their partners. Since the game seems to attract only low rollers like myself. If they want to attract people willing to spend larger amounts of money on Chips, and the ability to win nice prizes and rewards somebody is going to have to put up the money for the rewards. I think MGM was hoping to attract a lot of new players and new customers with this game. Which they did. But these new customers and players were not their target market! I have read so many reports of people redeeming myVegas Comps and not even tipping on their value. MyVegas has been so great for me since it is so much more difficult to earn Comps through Mlife. I am Gold with Mlife, and literally spent thousands on my last trip to Mandalay Bay. I don't even have a one night Comp offer from Mlife right now. Just really poor discounts.

I think I may try playing at a TR property on my next trip just to see if I get any offers. I don't know what Mlife expects from me. If spending thousands of dollars on Hotel rooms, gambling, and restaurants doesn't warrant a couple comp nights then Mlife is probably too rich for my blood.
