I have booked a wraparound suite – premium view for the weekend of April 24th at the Cosmo. This is going to be my first stay at this hotel as I usually stay at Bellagio but wanted to try something new to celebrate my 35th birthday. As this is going to be my first stay, I had some questions:

    1. I have done some searches on this forum and it seems like the best tower is east. I will playing some craps at Cosmo but will probably be walking to Bellagio and the strip a bit. Also, I want something that is not too high up as I want to have a good view of the fountains. Any recommendations regarding the best floor range? Room?

    2. I read in some older posts that you can get the fridge emptied for a fee. Is that still the case?

    3. As I am already spending a bit for the room, I was wondering if there is any way to contact someone at the hotel to maybe request a floor/tower and have it reserved. It’s a birthday celebration so just want to have something nice. Any special requests I can make to get a nice room reserved for me in advance? Who would I contact?

Any comments or responses would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Lots of noise

The one thing that we really noticed on our last stay (October) is the thump-thump-thump of music coming from down below somewhere. It lasted till 4 am and made it impossible to sleep until it ended. I like music but I would think this would be a compliant of many people staying on the "east end" towers. I am not really even sure where the music was coming from, below or across the street. This was on a wednesday night, hate to think what the weekend may be like.

I've stayed in pv wraparound suites my last 3 stays and music from the club has never been an issue. The higher the floor the better the view. imho

You want floors 39+ East tower, best wraparounds
I seem to get floors 64 +62 Excellent views, I think highest floor is 70?

The music thumping is across the street Paris/Pho areas. Not Cosmos fault.

Are you sure about that? I swear I was at Planet Hollywood and could not believe how loud the music from the Cosmo pool scene was.

I was just in a wraparound suite earlier this week. The fridge is a full-sized fridge with freezer. The bottom two shelves of the fridge are stocked w minibar items but the top shelf and door were both empty and totally usable. The freezer was empty w no ice maker.

If that isn't enough space, there is a wine fridge under the bar but that'll only hold horizontal bottles.

Can't comment on B fountain view as my room looked at PH and CC. Any noise I heard was music from PH at night and jackhammers from Harmon Tower during the day.

If you're walking to Bellagio I'd say skip the strip and go out the back of the casino / cut through Vdara (if you're in a hurry that is)

Seems like the strip exit would be faster. Multiple escalators to bring you towards the casino.

If you're going out the back, where do you exit? By the checkin area?

Edit: Found this great tip from Universal in another thread https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?116582-Considering-first-stay-at-Cosmo-Questions&p=1078601#post1078601

I agree the higher the floor the better... we are on 69 in the Eastside tower and show was fine.

Can you have the fridge emptied in the all of the suites or just the suites with the full size fridges?

    It's Marquee, not PH.

This is a picture from a few years ago when I went of about the 60th floor-ish.

I think in the smaller rooms you have to request a fridge "for medical purposes", they won't empty them.
