I have never stayed at Caesars, and had three questions about their pool:

    1) If I check in at 9/10am and the room isn't ready, will they let me enter the pool?
    2) How strict are they with checking room keys? Is it like the Flamingo where you just flash your room key and go in, or do they actually check if you're registered via your drivers licence?
    3) If you're brining a friend, do they need to be registered to the room too, in order to gain access?

I know these are all front desk/pool questions for the staff at Caesars, but the will NOT pick up, I have tried many times.

    Thanks in advance!

So, you're telling me if I show without a room key, and a bathing suit on, and say I want to play blackjack at the Fortuna pool, that's all I need to get in? Even without a room key?

Technically, there is some law that gaming areas can't be "private" and must be available to the public. Of course, if they think you're scamming, they could tail you to ensure you're playing blackjack. That's highly unlikely.

Are you going to sit in waist-deep water in a business suit?

I called there, they said this isn't the case. With that said, there seems to be a lot of options.

    1. Yes, what i did was check my bag into the hold area at Caesars. They gave me temporary pass at the check in desk which allowed me to use the pool. I already had my shorts and t-shirt on so i didn't need to change, but if need be you can use the pool facilities once you're in.
    2. I always had my key out before entering. They never checked driver's license/ID, just my key. In my case there was always a person checking keys and containers and employees handing out towels etc.
    3. I don't have any friends.....:wink2:

YMMV.........but it was stricter at the Venus pool, where there are no kids and a European style wading facility. I spent most of my time at the Venus pool, not because of all the Topless'es going on, but because of "all about that bass".

all my trips to CP pool it was just flash the card, they give you a towel and have fun, my friend staying at Planet Hollywood came to meet me at the pool, he just told them he was meeting me and they let him in no card or anything

and around 9am they are still organizing chairs and such so theres usually no one out yet except a few ppl trying to save a front row chair with there towel early...at least all the times ive been its been like that
