    Hi,

Wondering if anyone can recommend any restaurants. Over in Vegas for a wedding early August, and as best man I've been tasked to arrange a couple of things ahead of time.

The happy couple want to arrange a meal as a sort of welcome to everyone, and give the opportunity for people to meet. It's a group of about 15 at the moment, and it will be the first time some of the party will be meeting others. The age range varies from a younger guest of about 8-9 yrs old, to the in-laws who won't want their age mentioned but lets just say they're enjoying retirement.

Any recommendations for venues would be appreciated. Trying to cater for everyone is always difficult, but generally a nice relaxing atmosphere and happy to cater for the younger members of the group as well? budget not an issue, more important the venue and atmosphere is right for the occasion. I suggested Denny's as it's in/out and back to the casino but for some reason they didn't like that :) Apparently got my priorities wrong! well it's their fault for making me best man......

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It is a little confusing when you say budget is not an issue and then suggesting Denny's .
A little more info may help.
There are hundreds of restaurants in Las Vegas from casual to gourmet.
Steakhouses to sushi and French to Italian.
A better idea on budget may help.
Most restaurants will accommodate large parties with advance notice.

Most of the guests are staying at Wynn/Encore or the Pallazo. Budget is generally not an issue, but as a guide they've said they'd be happy at around $100 - $120 per head for the meal. They don't want anything too formal, but a decent atmosphere to allow people to get to know each other for those meeting for the first time.

Carmines in the forum shops can handle that, is nice but pretty informal, affordable, and you don't have to be quiet. Plus family style serving you can offer a wide range of dishes for everyone to sample.

Grand Lux is always a good pick to satisfy a group.
