Are most of the places to get a good steak or prime rib dinner on the strip ala carte? Not a fan of haveing to buy each part of my meal separate. I know The Steakhouse at Circus Circus, the dinners come with the salad and sides, but are there any others? Been to Ellis Island for their steak dinner and it was pretty good, but that's it. Have quite a bit of Total Rewards credits to use too, so CET restaurants would be a plus.

Honestly I don't know of any of the higher end ones not to be a la carte. You might t would have to go Outback at Casino Royale or order a steak at non steakhouse. Honestly they'd just roll it into the price, charge you $10 extra and you'd still pay the same. the sides are normal more than enough for 2, sometimes 3 people.

I can't think of a higher end place that fits this criteria.

Charlier Palmer has a 3 course dinner "cut of the week" were everything is included in the 48 price.

I haven't been, but the menu for Center Cut at the Flamingo says the steaks come with Yukon Gold mashed and seasonal vegetables.

So if you pay $50 all inclusive with salad and sides, or $30 for the steak, $10 for the salad, and $10 for the sides, what is the difference?

The difference is that none of the top tier steakhouses have a $30 steak on their menu.

Yeah...looking at menus, it's more like $50-65 just for the meat and sides around $15 each

That was just an example. If you find a top tier steakhouse that does all inclusive I'll bet it works out to the same as buying sides separate.

If you're looking to go to a nice place for steak it's going to be a la carte and you should expect to pay about $100 a person. Just the cost of doing business in Las Vegas for good steakhouses.

If you want the Prime beef it will be a la carte. If you want a good streak that isn't prime you might want to look at Gordon Ramsay Pub. They have a few steaks that come with a side and veggies. Center Cut includes a potato and side as well as someone mentioned. The one time I ate there I was not impressed. Also some places have 3 course specials that would include a side. If you want a salad steak and side for sure only place I can think of is Outback (better then center cut in my mind), and they actually have some nice views.

If you have the Total Rewards credits to use, you may want to consider Ruth's Chris at Harrahs .. it's upstairs where The Range used to be .... fantastic meal. Everything is ala carte but it's so, so good!

I've never really look for an all inclusive place on the strip. But places like The Cortez Room at Gold Coast and Prime Rib Loft at Orleans have all inclusive steak dinners. Good food and reasonably priced. If you want prime cuts and all that, you aren't going to find that at these places, though.

I was actually looking at Ruth's Chris. We have one here at home but haven't been to it. Too expensive, but in Vegas for a nice meal and with us having rewards credits, it might be a good option. I looked at their menu and do like their selection of sides and although pricey, one of the only places I have seen in Vegas that has crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer.

Vegas have plenty of great steakhouses so don't bother with Ruth´s Chris.

Off strip I would recommend Envy at the Renaissance Hotel. Not sure if
salad was included but awesome steak and great ambiance . My late husband and
I celebrated special events there. The service and wine were also quite good.

Ruth's Chris at Harrahs is excellent for both food and service--it is better than the one we have at Harrahs Cherokee.
They have a seafood tower appetizer that is to die for if you like seafood --but it is very large and enough for 2 people

It does seem like Ruth's Chris has more or a traditional menu. Not a fancy menu with some weird stuff. Don't get into the restaurants that show more plate with decorated garnish then food. Also can use total rewards points there I think. Have seen mixed reviews about food and service there...some great, some poor.

I like their menu--and I have been there at least 4 times in the past 2 years and food and service was always excellent.
If you happen to get served a dish that you feel is not up to par--mention it to your waiter and it will be taken care of quickly.

And yes you can use your total rewards there--and they actually ask for your card at the check-in podium to be sure you get points for your meal.

Does the Ruth Chris at Harrahs take reward credits as payments? I know the steakhouse that preceded Ruth Chris did, but since the current steakhouse is a chain, I assumed they do not take RC as payment.
