This must be a teaser offer right???

I just received a very generous offer from the Wynn Three complementary nights and $400 free credit!!!! I spent a couple of days there last month and got a red card for the first time. I put around 3200 points on it in one night of playing slot machines. I only play slots and always max bet from $1.50 to $4.00.

It seems a very generous offer to me, especially the free credit. I'm Diamond at CET and Gold at Mlife and never get more than $50 free play.

I always thought it was harder to get comps at the Wynn. I will take them up and book with them of course But I think my play won't generate many future offers like this one. I absolutely loved the property and I'm so excited to be able to go back

By the way is free credit the same as free play?

 

I put around the same number of points per day too, and have been getting that offer for years. They usually will include 2 buffets too. Also the offer typically includes a free upgrade to an Encore king, but if you dont want that, they will upgrade you to a Wynn Panoramic king for no charge.

 

Free credit is slot play....resort credit is credit to use at restaurants, etc...

The wynn knows what works....I haven't stayed anywhere else in the last 5 or 6 years.

 

Note to self.....Next time in Vegas head over to Wynn and get a players card.

As I was telling my buddy last night. . . good news and bad news. . . I got a $500 free play offer . . . at the Wynn.

Love the hotel, love the restaurants, love the shopping. . . . but . . . it's a very tough place to play. One of the only places I've left early because I took a severe beating.

The last $300 free play offer lasted 30 minutes, and that was on penny machines playing $4.00.

I'm not a slot guy, nor have I ever gambled at the Wynn, but is 3200 = $3200 coin-in? I'm curious what game(s) you were playing, how long it took you to rack up $3200, and how much money you actually put in, to be able to get to the 3200 points. I wouldn't mind staying at the Wynn occasionally, just to mix things up, but I don't want to waste my time if I don't think I can get anything comped. Comp offers have often confounded me. I've put through an equal amount of play, both slot and table games, at CET and MGM but CET offers me almost nothing. Occasionally I get a few free nights during off peak weeks at the lower tier properties. MGM however will give me free nights, free play and resort credit at their mid tier properties. They seem to steer me a bit towards Mandalay Bay for some reason, not complaining at all though, love the place but I get phenomenally better offers at Mandalay Bay than I can at NYNY or Monte Carlo.. It's weird.

Anyway, I think I'll head up to the Wynn on our trip! Sounds promising

 

How much play is that? 3200 points? How much points does one $4 bet get?

 

I'm truly horrible with coin-in and things like that If I remember correctly you earn 1 point for every $1.50 at the Wynn. So I'm not sure what my actual coin-in was. I was at the end of a week long stay in Vegas and my bankroll was only $ 1600 I think and I played probably 4-5 hours. I do believe this is a teaser offer just for them to see if I increase my play or not. But I'll take it anyway lol

Dai Lun yes you're right! I didn't win anything at the Wynn, lost all my bankroll and their slots seem to have higher minimum bets than other places. But I just love the hotel and the spa there. So I'll go back and use the offer, give them the same play and if they don't send me anything anymore it's ok

 

And that's the way to do it. Take their offer, and play normally without regard to future offers.

 

It doesn't surprise me that you get nothing from CET while playing at least some table play. On New Year's Eve I was rated at Planet Hollywood with a $600 average bet on midi-Baccarat for 4 hours (the theoretical loss on that play is over $2,000). I received $23 in comps on my Total Rewards card. I was so shocked that I actually went to the player's club desk to make sure that all of my play went into the system. After they told me that it had, I realized that you shouldn't bother playing at CET if you play tables at all. I had literally earned 1/2 of a buffet at Caesars Palace with a $2,000+ theoretical loss. In my view, this is their way of actively discouraging table players from playing at any of their properties - I won over $10K (and was winning the whole time or I wouldn't have played as long), but had it gone the other way I would have been furious at this.

In the end, I think CET just wants you feeding the slot machines, because variance is on their side with the machines. 95%+ of slot sessions end up with the house winning; it's around 65% for table sessions. On those rare occasions when slot sessions do go against the house, their losses tend to be dramatically smaller than those from bad house runs at the tables. When your casino is bankrupt, variance matters.

congratulations daniela, you finally got a comp offer from the Wynn. You deserve it and I hope you enjoy your stay and have lots of fun. You want to now turn that free play into a handpay. As I posted in another thread, it is not necessarily difficult to get a comp offer from the Wynn especially if you are a slot player as opposed to a table player. If you are losing $1600 bucks just in slots than you are profitable to the casino and they may certainly invite you back but I wouldn't stress it and play to enjoy yourself. Wynn is a beautiful property and it is unique like no other casino on the strip.

The Wynn is $1.50 per point and unlike mlife it does not differentiate between specialty slots, so 3200 slot points is closer to 4500 coin in.
