    My Trip Report

I have been enjoying the recent trip reports and figured I would try and contribute something that somebody might enjoy. I have been going out for the first week of the tournament for several years and really enjoy it. This year I hope to parley this recent local casino cash out
    [IMG]

And this super bowl bet into a winning Vegas trip

I am an equal opportunity gambler. I will play UTH, blackjack, bar top vp, penny slots and regular poker (1/2 nl and Omaha 8/b)

I made it into town on a pleasant flight. Baggage arrived quickly and I jumped into a cab towards the pink chicken aka the flamingo. I was able to check in quickly and received a standard queen room.[IMG]

Ironically my dad who recently moved to Laughlin was in town for the night as he was flying back to Wisconsin. We met up shortly after I checked in. We had a quick bite at Johnny Rockets. Decent burger for the price.[IMG]

After diner I decided to play UTH. My dad has never played the game so he watched me turn $200 into $0 in about a half hour. He was very impressed[emoji2]

We then decided to hit up Tag bar in the Linc.[IMG]

My dad has never done the whole play video poker for "free drinks" so it was fun showing him the ropes. I managed to turn $40 into 3 "free" micro brews and my dad did slightly better turning $20 into 2 "free" micro brews.

It was getting late for my dad who has to catch an early flight so he headed to bed and I jumped into a 1/2 no game at the flamingo. The room was hopping with most tables full. I bought into a decent action game for $300. I was card dead for awhile when I finally caught some hands against the action players and turned my buy in into this[IMG]
    A nice $861 cash out.

On the agenda for today is cashing my super bowl ticket, playing some Omaha 8/b at the Venetian and consuming too many captain and diets. I will also check the line on the Wisconsin game and see if I can cash on a bet.

Yeah it was like poker 5 years ago. Make a hand and play it fast because no one was folding.

I did not notice the different color of the chips and at first thought you had $100K there! I was like gonna be tough to top that, but then realized the racks are $5? Anyway, great start and look forward to following along. While I do not play poker I love the details of poker play, so looking forward to it! Good Luck and thanks for taking the time to update us!

Very nice. Love the olives in the bloody mary's. Never gambled with my dad as he's one of the types to bury his money in the back field in a bag, sounds like you enjoyed it!

There is not nearly enough sustenance in that BM! You need a celery stalk stat! Looks like I may need to try UTH...

After my quads at Harrah I had an up and down day. I usually stay center strip at a Caeser's property because of the comp rooms but decided to head south and check out some of the casinos I never really visit. I played a little at the Cosmo, Aria and Bellagio. I ended the mini trip up ~$100 thanks to a small Walking Dead hit. I was ready for a nap after that. I woke up around 6 and decided to play the Venetian $200 10k guarantee tournament[IMG]

I got short stacked early and could never recover and busted around ~50.

After the tournament I cruised around and played a little of everything with no real hits. I ended the day down around ~$300.

Sorry was a little lacking with pictures. I will try and do better today. Thanks for following along.
