Just Cannot Decide, Also trip plans

Decided to make the trip as originally planned and will arrive Monday morning leaving Friday at 12noon. I won't have to miss a day of work, and with lots of thinking and planning it seems I would be over my budget. This will give me enough days to do what I desire and also not break my bank. This will still be my longest trip yet and I will be able to get everything into it that I want. The only extra expense is if I take a cab downtown instead of a bus, but I was thinking I would take the Monorail to SLS and catch a cab to Fremont St and then do the return the same say, cab to SLS and Monorail back.

Any input would be appreciated

Here are my plans so far, note that they are in day order but the ABC order is not set in a specific order:

Four Night Plan

Monday:
A: Arrive, check in PHO
B: Lunch Wicked Spoon
C: Free-time for all activities including gambling, pool, walking strip
D: High Roller
E: Free-Time


Tuesday
A: Pick up rental car at Aria 1100am
B: Valley of Fire trip
C: Strat Tower
D: Free-Time

Wednesday
A: Return Rental Car to Mandalay Bay office by 1100am
B: Check into Mandalay Bay if possible
C: Free-Time
D: Zumanity 930pm show
E: Free-time

Thursday
A: Free day
B: Fremont St?

Friday:
A: 930 Bell VIP to LAS for 12noon Flight.

 

If you want to save money, take the wax bus to Fremont. Two bucks each way, pickup and drop off on Tropicana, and less walking then to the monorail.

 

Where on tropicana? I'm all about saving money

This looks like a great option for the SDX which we were planning on taking. I guess it just depends which part of the strip you are on when you decide to head downtown. Thanks for the info!

 

Will check it out for sure. The idea is to get downtown just before dark and stay a few hours and then head back to the strip. Will be staying Mandalay Bay at the time.

 

The WDX only makes the 1 stop on the strip. The SDX makes a few, and the Duce makes 1 at almost every casino. OK, maybe not THAT bad, but darn near from the looks of it. For the SDX, and Duce, you have to get a bus card at the bus stop, they don't take cash. The WDX will take either.

 

Made my final change to this trip. Work just called me to approve my June 7th off so I would not have to call off, so I am back on for going on the 7th. Since I was content on going on the 8th I canceled my reservation at Four Queens. I am debating on rebooking that but have also booked a Cabana at El Cortez, a property I have never been to.
