    My Trip Report

Me and the GF are on our way to Harrahs Cherokee for a few hours. I have some 'one day only' FP to use, plus we are headed to Vegas in April, and I needed to figure out / practice how to do a live TR on Tapatalk.

We should be there in just under three hours, see you then!!

Hope you have a great time.
The weather is going to be nice today--we live about 20 minutes from Cherokee.

Might be doing a Cherokee trip in a couple weekends. How far are the breweries in Asheville from the casino?

Asheville is about 1 hr away
But there are now 3-4 breweries in Sylva which is 20 minutes from the casino

Just got in, drive was a breeze and the weather is amazing here.

Thanks for the well wishes Carol and Landry, hopefully I have some slot and vp porn to share soon! I really like coming here, even if the paytables arent great and there arent free drinks.

I havent tried the italian place, nostress, but we are looking to grab some food later, so thanks for the recommendation. i am diamond.

Italian rest is very good--and the Diamond Lounge is back to serving a little food--but not sure of the time on the week-ends.
Also the oriental place is good --soup is wonderful and the bowl is huge

LOL-and the little bottles they serve on planes can be refilled and fit in your pocket

I came in Decemner and stayed a few days... we brought a large rolling cooler that was filled with all kinds of goodies... we even brought champagne and oj for mimosas :) we each had a large travel mug that we would pop up to the room and refill when needed, no one looked twice at them

Yes I have a travel cup--and do the same thing.
Years ago you would not have been able to get on the casino floor with something like that--but it sure has changed

So it goes with a TDB love affair... But 9/6 isn't terrible for as cheap as 50c with no casino around for hours. Damn Georgia and their antigambling stance. Hell, I couldn't buy beer on Sunday when I lived there...:grrr: A casino in Atlanta would make a boatload of cash... And let's be honest, did you go today because you were jealous of Dad in AC? :evillaugh

Hope you do better in Vegas!
