I apologize if this is touched upon in earlier thread. I PROMISE I searched and couldn't find anything.

Staying downtown. Usually on the strip I stop somewhere and get some liquor for mixers. Where is the closest (walking distance) downtown that has liquor store, or perhaps a store that sells liquor at a reasonable price. Would that be Walgreens?

    Thanks you in advance.

Depends on what you want. Walgreens has beer, but I don't recall seeing liquor there. The ABC store near Golden Nugget has a good selection and there is a small store in the walkway between the California and Main St. Station that also sells liquor.

We always buy our spirits at the ABC store, not the best prices in Vegas, but not bad either.

The place in the walkway between Cal and MSS doesn't have a huge selection, but the prices are very reasonable. Not much in the way of mixers, either, but I suppose you could get those somewhere else.
