Going to vegas for the first time in a few days. Will be staying for 8 days so plenty of time to do other things than gambling :)
Want to do some shopping. Were is it best to go? Thinking about going to the the premium outlet malls... Which one is the "best"? Do they have the same shops? Which one is the easiest to reach from the strip? (Aria)

What is Las Vegas Town Square? Shopping center? Best way to go there? Want to go to "Fry´s" (Electronic) store. Las Vegas Town Square is on the way there and near.. Easy to get from Town Square to Fry´s?

What are the alternative for bus in las vegas? We are staying 8 nights and will probably take the bus some every day... Read something about 15 day tickets?

You might do a search on this site - I think there have been long discussions about this topic before. I personally like the Outlet Mall at the South end of the strip. I find better deals there. The other one (near downtown) is also good, it's more upscale.Town Square is more limited in stores, and is an outdoor use mall with restaurants, etc. mixed in. Not my first choice. Fashion Show Mall is on the strip - probably one of the top 3 choices due to them being so large and having a large selection. Can't help you on the transportation - I always rent a car.

You might also do a google search of the Las Vegas malls/shopping to see which places have the stores you like best or the ones you want to see. Have fun!

Just a thought for the OP .... rent a car. You're wanting to hit off Strip shopping outlets and centers, and your other thread says you want to visit virtually every casino in town. With that much travelling you are going to be on the go for your entire trip. A car rental will be more expensive than bus tickets, but for the amount of travel you are proposing, it just makes sense

I agree. I would rent a car. I've been at the North Premium Outlet on a busy weekend and the line up for a cab was honestly 200 people deep.....lined up from the curb and around the corner.

If you don't want to rent a car for the whole trip, try Enterprise on Flamingo and Decateur. They will pick you up and drop you off and the rates will be much less than at the hotel.

Fashion Show Mall is good and there are decent places to eat there too. My wife gets her hair and nails done there too, if that's something you're looking for.
You can get a discount book at the Kiosk inside the Fashion Show Mall, which has coupons for many of the stores.

I have also been to the South Outlet Mall which is good, but i'd recommend a car as taxis for your trip back are not frequent.

I had investigated the outlets, and it seemed the North one by downtown was the popular one with higher end shops. From Cosmo, it was $25 each way by cab. I was quite disappointed there as when I went into the higher end places it was VERY clear that it was the "made for outlet" stuff. At Michael Kors I'm pretty sure they have a guy in the back room with a bedazzler gun sticking rhinestones on everything to make it feel like Vegas......it felt so cheesy and cheap. Just looking at the bags you could see waves in the "leather' of the sides of the purses, and they wanted $350 and up for junk in my opinion. After seeing that repeated in a couple stores, we gave up looking and went to the taxi line, and it was huge! I know there is a bus route that can take you there and back, but no idea of how long it would take, even by cab it seemed a fair distance. Renting a car probably is best as others have mentioned.
I find Fashion show mall is a good place to go. Macy's almost always has sales and if you are from Canada you can go to the service desk and ask for an out of country discount card that gives an additional discount off your purchase. Lots of stores in every price range~

    Have fun!
