If you buy tickets in person from the little "shack" out from of Absinthe do you get charged the huge fees from Ticketmaster? Thanks for the help!!

No. Look for someone handing out $20 off coupons beside the ticket shack.

So if we use the $20.00 on site we don't have to pay the fees? That would be great! That would save another $20.00 bucks!

No "convenience fees". Ticketmaster doesn't have their hands in that as of yet.......

X2 - The people handing out the discount coupons have literally been there every time I walk through that area (which is about every three weeks).

Ok so does it matter early or late show for discount tickets? What time does the box office open? I guess what I'm asking is if I go to the late show, can I roll up there at 7 pm and buy the tickets or should I make a point to get there at 3 p.m. to buy tickets?

How is the show since they have had a change in cast? Anyone seen it with the new cast?

The ticket office is open before shows and, on the late show, closes after the late show starts.

Something to consider. It's assigned seating and the later you buy a ticket the further back from the stage you'll be. Now, with such a small venue that's not necessarily a bad thing. And, some of the seating options in the far back are nice. If you want to sit close, buy online a week or two in advance - particularly for a weekend show.

Is there much chance of the show selling out for a mid-week performance?

FWIW I went during the week, on a Wednesday and it looked sold out to me, I didn't see any empty seats.

Absinthe is a popular show and they really get out front and push discount tickets if there's going to be empty seats.

Just want to point out too that it used to be (as late as 2013) that you could get cheaper tickets from Tix4Tonight, but with them raising prices it's pretty much a wash with buying from them or the ticket booth with the $20 coupons, and you're more likely to get better seating buying from the booth.

I don't know. I just heard that at least the two leads changed.

I didn't see it with the old cast. DW and I saw it the last week of February. And it was a stone cold hoot. I laughed, then was amazed. And then I laughed some more. Be warned: it is foul. Very foul. But that is right up my alley. Read the reviews if you are concerned, but I could not recommend it high enough.
