Will be flying in on a red-eye in a few weeks and want to hit the ground running on the casino floor.....

Since I have never played downtown (previous 10+ stays on the strip), I will need to get player's club cards for the downtown casinos & to take advantage of ACG coupons. Are the player's clubs open 24/7? What kind of hours do they offer?

None that I know of downtown are 24/7. MSS which is part of Boyd downtown (Cal & Fremont) is open until either 11 or midnight. They reopen at 7 AM.

The D, Four Queens, and Golden Gate all close at midnight or 1AM I believe that they all open at 8 or 9AM

When you are checking in ask the front desk - they might be able to create you a card right there.

The pit might be able to make you a card. But if it's something like slot play you might be out of luck if the players club needs to activate. For a match play on a table you'd probably be ok. I've never used ACG coupons.
