Why is there a difference between "-115, -105" and "-110, -110?" Why don't they just change the number of wins by 0.5 or 1 game, and leave everything at "-110, -110?" I've always wondered that.

They use that to try and push money one way to balance out their risk. If they have a lot of money on a team and move them to -120 and the opposite side to EVEN then they can balance out their $ risk. If people keep betting the -120 side then they will eventually move the line.

Question......as soon as the regular season is over you can cash a winning ticket on win totals correct?

    That is correct!

    I like Milwaukee slightly 'under'.

I like them slightly over. (Yeah, yeah, I know). I like the White Sox over and the Pirates under.

Separate note: Can these bets only be placed before Opening Day or are the lines continually live and updated? (Basically, when I go in April, will I still be able to put action on the win totals?)

It might be because I'm from Detroit but I'll take the Tigers Over 86.5. The AL Central still hasn't caught up. Tigers will win the division again right around 88-90 games. Heck they won 90 last year and could get runs in 30% of them, offense will be vastly improved this year.

That Braves line stinks to high heaven. How did it open at 72? They won 79 last year. I know they lost Upton but still.

I would stay away from that line.

    Arizona Over looks good.

I predict the Dodgers and Angels will finish with the best records and play in the World Series. Unfortunately, once again 70% of Dodger viewers will not be able to see them thanks to TWC.

They'll need better offense now that Sherzer is gone. They'll drop 5 games they should have won strictly on that alone.

Yep, the loss of Scherzer is easily the cause of a 5-10 game drop in wins for the Tigers.

Yep. If they get 10 wins from the guy that replaces him, that would be a victory. But replacing 18 wins is tough.

I don't follow Detroit so I have no clue what their plan is.

I'm going to have to put money on the Pirates to go over.

Is there anywhere online I can find the latest lines for these totals?

I am looking for the San Diego line.
