Airport LImo Pickup - Additional Stop

Mirage Host has setup limo pickup for my upcoming trip. I have a buddy who is flying in with me but staying at Venetian. Is it alright to ask limo driver to drop my buddy off at Venetian on way to Mirage?

 

I'm thinking a decent tip will secure the additional stop!

of course, that's very normal. just tell the driver where you want to go.

of course it's nice to tip him extra for his trouble,

but you don't have to promise that upfront like you're trying to buy him off or something.

 

I make atleast 2 stops before i hit the hotel, never been an issue. The driver usually asks if i need to stop anywhere elese since they know a hefty tip is coming

 

Its not a problem at all--just tell him where you want to stop and he will do it--and usually a $20.00 tip is the norm

 

We only requested a stop once and he simply had to radio it in and ask if there was an issue.
He said its usually no problem unless it multiple stops and take and extra 30+ minutes and stuff.
Not sure if that is normal protocol or not.

 

I am wondering if the limo was from the hotel or a private company.
As I have never had the hotel ones radio it in--so just curious
