    My Trip Report

So it's about a week before our trip so I figure it's time for some pretrip banter. This trip started off as Gaggles, Big Sack and I heading to Vegas for Big Sack's birthday, but soon after Gaggles invited his lady friend, so I invited my fiance and well our degenerate gambler of a friend just invited himself to stay with Big Sack, we shall refer to him as T.

The 2 straight couples are flying out Thursday morning, while T and Big Sack fly out that night. We are spread out across center strip as Gaggles is at Caesars Palace, Big Sack is at Flamingo and I am at Planet Hollywood. Big thanks to resident host Hunter for comping me a resort room. There are no real plans in place other than a dinner at Mesa Grill. The rest will be heavy drinking, gambling and all the shenanigans that go along with that. I will be posting as much as I can, with as many pics as possible via Tapatalk, gaggles has the app as well, so with us tagging team this trip report, with Big Sack in the middle :wink2: we should end up with a decent trip report, hopefully with many royals. Let the trash talking begin :drunk:

I can't speak for the group, but things I would like to is check out SLS, while down there I may hit up the Peppermill, I also may just walk through the Riv and Circus Circus. Rumor has the Riv is in the process of being sold, so I would hate to think I could not visit one of the first casinos I ever gambled in before it might topple. I think we will also hit up the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay because after 30 some trip I have still yet to go. I plan on doing most of my gambling at CET props as their current promo is a 50% bonus on all tier points, including the bonus points, at that rate I could do platinum in one trip.

So just bored at work so thought I would add a few things. I find I always make a tonne of plans and 90% I don't follow through with them, so basically it has become more of a like list. So as I ramble on about things that I would like to do this trip, realize that most of it will not happen as drinking and gambling consumes my plans for other stuff lol, stupid free booze lol.

Think I may make a trip to Fremont Street if time permits as I have some freeplay offers and truly do love it down there, other possibilities include a ride on the High Roller and lunch at Bordot at Aria. I am also going to try to play at some of the new bars at IP as one got a trippie award and looked cool walking by.

My flight lands around noon and as some of you may recall from last trip when I started drinking heavily at Cromwell with Alexanbo on an empty stomach. After many shots at Cromwell and even more fireball at the D I ended up stabbing Gaggles with a steak knife and leaving in the middle of dinner to go dry heave in the bathroom. You can start reading about it here https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?106465-Gaggles-35th-Bday-Sponsered-By-Beejay-Macker-Alexanbo-Borat-and-Big-Sack!/page31

So after that I have learned my lesson and I will be eating lunch first thing after checking in. The plan is to try Gordon Ramsay BURGR but if it's too lined up we will just grab Earl of Sandwich.

I'll be at Pho at the same time, so if a middle aged woman comes up and says hello, don't be startled!

And I don't look anything like my avatar. :evillaugh

I think it's a better plan to skip lunch and only stay in the proximity of butter knives.

    Good luck!!

So I want to test out tapatalk and putting up a pic so this is a pic of my new good luck charm.

Gaggles and I got to talking about why is BeeeJay always winning and I have decided it is because of his constant use of good luck charms. I have a bellagio silverstrike but I couldn't find it so I'm as I dug through my Vegas stuff I decided this would be my good luck charm...bring on the royals

Anyone have suggestions on the Peppermill for a great meal? Also may go have a drink in the lounge, looks like they have quite the menu, any suggestions there? I have been eyeing up the scorpion

Peppermill is awesome, you can hardly go wrong with anything. Breakfast in particular was great. The lounge is not to be missed, especially if you can get a seat by the fire pit.

Thanks! I haven't been to that area in probably 10 years so figured it would be a great way to kill a day, have a good meal then gamble all night!

And in the category of "Do You Wanna Go Faster?" I just text our dear friend whom we shall call....Jungle George. And just like that (within 8 texts) he is booked. He will be coming down with the second wave coming in from Kalispell arriving later in the evening on Thursday. Because it is very hot in Vegas right now, and because Caesars has a heated pool, the chances of us spending the afternoon relaxing at the pool instead of hitting the bottle have increased. So the possibility exists that we will not already be passed out when the second wave arrives around 10:00 pm. So Big Sack, T, and Jungle George are on the clock. Now, if we can just get Beejay to man up.......

Yeah BeeeJay man up!!!! So looks as though rumors are true about the riv being bought and subsequently demolished. So definitely gonna pop by and grab a chip before it gets blown up.

Don't doubt for a second that I didn't price this flight out this morning again while on my flight from Chicago to Newark, and speaking of stabbing, didn't that fucking pilot twist the knife while everyone waited for the door to open and deplane, he pops out and says he's headed to Vegas next and his first bet is all of us poor saps were headed to work. I thought they had to be monitoring my cell phone internet to see i was pricing out that flight and just fucking with me!

I was honestly planning to work late all week in hopes of being able to hop out there at the last second, until I got the text from my wife and it looks like I may be buying two cars this month. Apparantly she has applied the beat down style of driving to my car which she had been driving since hers crapped out. So yeah I'm pretty much fucked and probably won't be able to make VIMFP now either. FML.

Enjoy the trip boys, I'll be following the report!

(full disclosure.....the flight is $1,132.....if that car runs thru friday and i get the weekend off.......i'm just saying......."there's a chance".....)
