1wk trip, planning

Hey. Planning a 1 wk trip for 8 guys. We're planning at least 1 nightclub visit w/ bottleservice and 1 dayclub visit w/ bottleservice. Since 5/8 havent been to Vegas before we'll probably be drunk-casino-crawling a few times as well to see all the places. We'll be arriving friday night, and probably just hit the casino for a few hours before turning in (traveling a long way).

I've been wondering what might be to optimal way to go party wise.

a) Dayclub saturday, "rest" sunday, nightclub monday, (maybee nightclub again wednesday)

Or

b) Nightclub saturday, "rest" sunday, dayclub monday, (maybee nightclub again wednesday)

How would you go about it?

 

It doesnt matter how you plan it, with a group that big it is very hard to keep a schedule. Just keep it loose and give everyone a heads up where the party will be and it will all come together. The guys that have never been will likely get hammered the first day, that has been my experience.

 

Agree with Ron, Most people who go to Vegas for first time get hammered the first day/first night because its so much fun and no matter how far you travel you magically have energy. I would spread out the clubs with a day or two in between just to give people a break or to allow for some schedule changes as needed. Have a great time!!! Remember club will be busier and more expensive for bottle service on weekends which is the way I would go with that many people.

 

I've done a day club cabana at Liquid recently, back over the summer. Complete shitshow and a lot of fun. I'd highly recommend it. That said, however, having the cabana from 10-6 really tanked the evening. Most guys didn't make it out after. So you can kind of consider that a lost day. Haven't ever done the night club thing because I prefer to gamble in the late hours ...

 

Since you guys are coming in on Friday, this is the best plan. The Dayclub will better much on Saturday than Monday. I know the Marquee at the Cosmo is open on Monday night, so I recommend that one.

Most important: drink Pedialyte!

 

You're probably right, chances are we'll end up at Rhino or the likes. If we decide to go either dayclub or nightclub, we should still make reservations even if it only be a few hours till we are going? (Better than just showing up at the door asking for at table)

 

Dont think we have Pedialyte in Europe. Where do I get it? Drink before, after, or both?

 

Should we connect with a host or just some random guy at the door?

 

On any of the clubs, advisable to get in touch with someone first. Find it amps up the level of service for sure.

 

Just don't make some reservation reserved with your credit card that puts you on the hook for bottle service, etc. only to find out your pals are too drunk/hungover to attend. I have never had any trouble getting into mid-level clubs on short notice. There will be guys everywhere offering to put you on guest lists, etc. You are right you may have trouble last minute if you have to have a table. Then again its Vegas and $$$ buys anything.

 

There was a recent thread about this on the board. You can buy it at the Walgreens pharmacy near Planet Hollywood. Drink some before you go to bed, but others have mixed it with alcohol to make creative new drinks. The concept is to avoid dehydration caused by drinking too much alcohol.

 

Yeah, I've gone to Vegas with first timers.... and almost always, they get shit-faced the first night and out of commission till the next day.

as a side... does the Pedialyte really work? This is the kids' drink right? I see them in my niece and nephew's lunch boxes. lol. or do they sell adult versions? But I suppose it does make sense to prevent dehydration. So take it right before or during pre-gaming? Might be too drunk to think of taking it right before passing out.

I find drinking a bunch of water and popping a couple Advil just before bed do the same thing for me as pedialyte. Wouldn't mind trying that hangover cure service, though.

You should definitely go to the day club on Saturday instead of the Monday, unless it's a long weekend the vibe on Monday should be very tame. There's always going to be good night club parties everyday of the week. As mentioned before Marquee is open on Mondays and I believe XS as well.

I would recommend reaching out to some hosts once you narrow down the part(ies) you want to check out just to get a good idea on how much you will be looking at.

 

Lots of goods advice here. Definitely do the day club on Saturday, best talent and better than mid week. Personally, I enjoy the industry nights at the clubs and those will be Monday or even Tuesday. You won't get the drunk tourist but some fun locals. Just my 2 cents
