Just wondering if it better to redeem a 2 For 1 Buffet or one Buffet Pass with one person paying? Just confused if there was any difference since the buffet pass cost more in LPs.

If you've got someone to go with, then buy the BOGO. One pass is more expensive because it doesn't require spending your own money at all and it's good for a solo traveller.

Right - the buffet pass is "better" because that other person could hypothetically also pay for their own with points, and then the casino wouldn't be getting any money from your visit. If they aren't doing that, then it's the same to you, so you might as well not spend as many lp.

I figured out that the BOGO is better as long as you don't mind coming up with cash "out of pocket". For some people who are "cash poor" or "LP heavy", the two dinner option is OK, but very LP heavy BOGO is by far the cheapest on your LP.

For example, using Dinner at Aria

    (SR - Stay Required)
    (NSR - No Stay Required)

One dinner 39,000 (SR) $34.99 (tax and tip not included)
    Two dinner 156,000 (SR)

    BOGO Dinner 15,500 LP (NSR) + $34.99\

I was surprised since the dinner at Bellagio is the same cash price but more in LP. I think that between Aria and Bellagio, Bellagio is the superior biffet.

    Bellagio
    one dinner - 70,000 (SR)
    one dinner - 140,000 (NSR)
    BOGO - 26,000 (NSR) +$34.99
    two dinner - 280,000 (SR)

Also, the thing about BOGO is they are NSR (No Stay required).

Thanks! As I am the only one who has been playing MyVegas decided to redeem three 2 For 1 buffets as we factor in money for food for our trip anyway. So happy enough to pay for one person each time. Also we are staying in the Aria anyway but think this will be the best way of using my LPs as I have just over 108,000.
