I'm a huge fan of Umami (at SLS). They've been migrating East for the last past couple of years and will soon have 3 locations in NYC. I could eat a burger for every meal.

Near the Mandarin Hotel. I really enjoyed the Philadelphia burger. So good. That Frenchie burger sounds and looks amazing.

What is with Shake Shack? They are all over the news mostly for their stock IPO. There seems to be a lot of hype with their hamburgers. What makes them so special?

They are new and novel to many visitors.

They are really not that bad at all, but still a chain-based formula burger place.

Bobby's Burger Palace was no joke, very good flavors and a nice place to sit and watch the strip. Would go back.

I had read that they use 3 different cuts of beef in burger in NYC.

I wasn't really impressed with Shake Shack. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that big a step up from other fast food burgers. In N Out is the better fast food burger IMO. I have heard that Shake Shack is not consistent as a chain with the NYC locations being better.

I was afraid that the quality might go down when expanding. I have not been able to try the Vegas location myself but if In N Out is better its bad. The NYC locations are great in every location i been except for at JFK Airport where its okay but not great.

The best burger I had in Vegas, and perhaps ever, were the sliders offered at Caesars Palace's buffet which I had during my trip in January. If you are at the buffet, make sure to grab one or two. You will not be disappointed.

The best fast food burger in Vegas, IMO, is In n Out.

I was going to try Shake Shack at NYNY, but instead i will try Wahlburgers at Bally's. I go back to Vegas in the Spring, if anyone hits Wahlburgers once they are open, please offer a review.
