Hello all, I booked a Deluxe Fountain View Room at Bellagio a month or so ago for about $240/nt with all taxes & fees. I can get a standard room at Wynn for the same dates, one night comped, for a total of under $400 for three nights. My dilemma: I play so much better in Bellagio's casino! Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you play and I assume win at Bellagio, then why not go to Bellagio?

Guessing you do not play enough to get rooms comped at Bellagio after the fact, or at least using Express Comps?

Will the additional losses at Wynn eat into any savings?

Room cost should be somewhat secondary. After all, you could stay at Circus Circus for way less. But, of course you do not want to be there, right?

A standard room at the Wynn is a suite. However, I only stay/play where I feel comfortable (think I will have better luck). Worst case (IMHO) is you don't play enough at the Wynn to cover your comp and they drop you.

I would say stay at Wynn. Wynn's cheapest room is much better than Bellagio's Deluxe room, not in the same tier.

I am partial to Mlife, I just enjoy their staying and playing with them, but personally, if given those options I'd jump at the chance to stay at Wynn. I feel like it would be more luxurious, on the room side of things.

That Wynn offer is standard.. they send it to nearly everybody. I dropped like $50 there last year and I get that in the mail every couple of months. I don't think you'd do any harm by using it.

How did you get $400 for 3 nights at Wynn? What's this black magic!

The magic is your player's card. Wynn will send you offers periodically.

I have stayed in Standard rooms, Tower rooms, and Parlor Suites at Wynn.
The standard rooms are large and nice but not really suites. That being said, they are nicer than Bellagio base level room.
The Encore rooms are close to suites as they have a dividing wall in the middle.

Wynn was my home base for a couple years buy ultimately found I got way more back in comps from MLife than I did from Wynn.

When playing pretend you are at Bellagio. Dice, cards and tiles have no idea where you are. Wynn is better..

There's not a lot of Pro's and Con's of either property just subtle differences. For example: We like staying at Wynn but enjoy visiting Bellagio's Casino.
If I was to choose a Buffet it would go to Wynn but they are both nice. If I was to choose a Spa it would go to Wynn/Encore. I know they've been re-doing
rooms at Bellagio but I feel Wynn stay's on top of maintenance and upkeep much better. We enjoy Cafe Bellagio as well as The Terrace Cafe at Wynn.
Bellagio has a central location but after moving around up and down the Strip for years, staying at over a dozen different Strip Resorts we call Wynn - HOME!

    no comparison.

    you like the B better,

and there isn't a better view on the strip than a B fountain view.

    and room-wise they're pretty comparable.

I'm just the opposite....get great offers from B but only room and a little FP at Wynncore but we both get lucky at Wynn and smacked at B every time we've stayed there....I mean every time! My motto is stay where you play and play where you feel comfortable and (sometimes) win.

Think about it....you can blow thru the difference in room costs in 10 minutes....or less.
