Once upon a time, I used to love playing and staying at V/P. The rooms at Palazzo, in my opinion, have to be in the Top Three for all of Las Vegas. Spacious, comfortable, and you can literally throw a football across the room. Bubbles loves her space! However, The Horrid Room Comp Debacle in which all comped reservations were rescinded really soured me on the hotel. I vowed at that time that I would never spend another dime in that place. That was what, 3 or 4 years ago?

Today, I got an offer in the mail for 3 comped nights and $60.00 in Free Play. I giggled my ass right off. Look! It's over there ---> (_l_)

Suck it, Shel. If I wasn't good enough for you then, I'm certainly not going to give you a second chance. One and done, baby!

I am glad I never experienced this, but I keep getting offers, sometimes twice in a day by e-mail and mail. I have stayed 5-6 times on comped nights and never had an issue. I stopped playing after the new year as I was down pretty good, but they did give me lots of nice offers and my wife loves the property, minus casino smoke. Vegas is a small percentage of profits compared to his Macau and Singapore properties, unless you are a million dollar whale like Nate.

I never experienced the comp withdrawal but the Palazzo is my preferred place to stay right now. They keep sending the good offers and I stay there because I love the whole place

I've never stayed either property, but Sheldon's efforts to outlaw online poker have made me vow to never spend any money at his establishments.

I remember my friend got a birthday offer for a free room and a 2 for 1 dessert. He promptly threw it away and vowed never to go back.

As was discussed, that was 3 or 4 years ago and hasn't happened since.

If I may say so, I think you're "cutting off your nose to spite your face.".

I've stayed there several times in the last 3 years and every stay has been uneventful.

It's a "teaser" offer...I got one of those ONCE, for 3 nights (Sun-Wed; albeit) and $150 FP...I took them up on it...
The funny thing is, I happened to hit a $ royal (at MSS) and gave Palazzo some decent slot play...and NEVER got anything from them!
However, I do agree on the rooms being the top 3 in Vegas..(my wife LOVED the room)

We have been there. The slots must be set at 80% - I swear. We had a small food comp, but trying to figure out where it was good at was a challenge. We have gotten calls from a host to return and have opted out -mainly because what they call a suite is NOT a suite like we can get at MGM or CET. Yes, they are great rooms, but not a suite. Wife and I have different sleep schedules, so a suite is a must.

Alls I know is, if they're sending me any kind of offers, let alone both a mailer and an email...they're desperate.

I am in the same boat. I have not played there since 2011, and I have received the following up to and including April: 3 free nights, $300 FB, and $450 FP. In my opinion this is a pretty good offer.

With the way the Grazie system is set up you can actually back calculate what the slot is set to. The more coin-in needed for a Grazie point, the higher the machine return is.

Also, most new IGT standalone slot games cannot be set lower than 85% return according to their own media publications. But we can all be sure that V/P will have those games at as low as possible!

I appreciate what you're saying. I really do! After I read the terms and conditions, it would not have worked out. We're going in February Wednesday through Saturday, and the terms state that the stay would be comped Sunday through Wednesday. If there have been no further shenanigans, I will seriously think of staying there again. My husband and I talked about it, and we're going to run a few hundred dollars through the slots to get back on the radar. Who knows? They might be able to steal us away from Wynncore.

Just call them to book on the offer and see if you can get the weekend. I always get Sun-Thurs. offers and every time got a weekend. The worst they can say is no. Also Palazzo is better than Venetian. It has higher ceilings and less congested compared to the Venetian side. Also the parking garage has access to hotel on Canal Shoppe level.

I would think its the same as regular bacc but much more accurate and precise since you have a computer keeping track

I'm fine with table Bacarrat rating. Hopefully they don't consider imperial stadium baccarat as video poker

It will take an implosion and then 10 years of environmental remediation to rid the current site of his body stench.

actually, in Macau and Singapore, he's just a slightly above average player.

the real whales there have high 8 and 9 figure lines.

I haven't played at V/P since 2011 because I got sucked into staying and playing at MGM properties. I recently got an offer for three free nights and some free play. I was thinking of using the offer but not really play there. I'm a slots player and based on the comments here, it seems the slots are not good at V/P. Will I be asked to pay for the room at the end of my stay if I don't give them enough play?
