    My Trip Report

    Full Report posted here
    https://sites.google.com/site/lvgrid/journal-blog/l-jan-2015-palace-island-pyramid

Flight for the wife, kid and I was $128 round trip. Total! $30 to fly to Vegas with all taxes and fees. The kid flys for free. The catch was we had to fly out on a Wed and home early the following Tues. I dont know how my foreign fellow gamblers do it for weeks on end. Anything over 4 days is too much for me. Yet here I am, always the value hunter.

I only have 1/2 my normal bankroll, and since I have the family in tow I can only gamble 1/2 the time I would normally. But with 2 extra days in town can I still be a max better and survive?

First 2 days is at Caesars Palace comped with $450 in Free Play.

Next 2 is at Treasure Island comped with $300 in Free Play.

Last 2 is at Luxor wth $100 in Free Play. Sadly Bellagio had a better offer for me but with the kid I'd rather do Luxor.

Did we make it out alive? Whats with the baby and a trashed suite at Caesars Palace? Read the report...

Nice report, thanks for taking us along. A lot of up and down but in the end not a bad result overall.

Great report. If I could walk out of LV only spending $100 a day, I would be giddy the whole flight home.

My husband has taken your CET comments to heart. We have been feeling bummed about them too and maybe it is time to venture out of the nest. Fly, little birds, fly!

Nice TR. Your kid's response to the wax celebs was priceless! Glad you had fun.

Thanks for the report!! Great that you got to spend time with your kid in Vegas, and still had plenty of time to gamble!! But did we really need to know about all the times you went to the bathroom??? Just saying!! :nono:

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Any seeing how much farther my money goes elsewhere it makes it that much easier to switch!

The whole time we were talking about going there neither one of us thought anything could go wrong! Then again i didnt think the kid would try flushing the TV remote at Treasure Island in the toilet either. Live and Learn.

I got pretty lucky this time around. Day 1 was a loss. Day 2 I hit for the $560. day 3 I had $750 in Free Play and the last day I hit for the grand. Take any one of those things away and I would have be sunk!
