    My Trip Report

My hubby (Aw234) and I left Ft. Myers, FL at the crack of dawn on Wednesday the 14th with a stop in Houston on our way to Mecca. Staying at Suncoast for three nights, then Orleans for two nights and finally one night at M Resort. It had been too long since we'd been there ~ nine months ~ and we were just giddy to get back! We were anxious to play some decent video poker along with progressive Pai Gow Poker.

It's a good thing I love being there because the gambling gods were not good to me for most of the trip. Saturday was moving day for us ~ after we left Suncoast, we headed downtown to spend some time and that's where my luck changed (if only for a couple of hours). I followed Royal Flusher's lead and hit the Super Times Pay slant tops at Main Street Station ~ I should have never left 'em! Here are some pics of my lucky 1-1/2 hours. I actually had 10 quads (including a couple with 3x multipliers), but forgot to take pics of a few. Best streak ever for me!

Once we left Main Street, my luck turned to crap again. But it sure was fun while it lasted!

A few more pics from our stay ~

Views from the High Roller ~ we bought a pair of Flex-Pass tickets from Groupon ($69) ~ well worth it!!

We always have to stop at Bellagio to see the Conservatory. This time the theme was Chinese New Year ~ year of the sheep.

Sorry for the short trip report ~ it's my first. :confused2: All in all, despite the lack of good luck the rest of the week, we had a fabulous trip! Suncoast is one of our favorite places to stay, Orleans was crazy busy (it was the weekend after all) and M Resort is beautiful with good VP and Pai Gow tables (definitely would love to go back there). With a little help from myVegas, we had the dinner buffet at Mandalay Bay and went to see Cirque de Soleil's LOVE (loved it!)

Even though we've only been back home one full day, we can't wait to go back!

Thanks for sharing! I will have to try one of these Super Times Pay machines. They look fun, and I can afford the 25 cent ones at least :)

Thanks for the trip report!! Looks like you all had a great time, and did many fun and entertaining things!

Although you had only a short lucky streak the main thing is that you enjoyed yourselves. I've had trips where there was no lucky streaks at all but I still had a blast!

I love the sentiment of this.. and I couldn't agree more. In fact, I'd venture to say the trips where I was determined to have a good time regardless of outcome - I've won more.

I know of a couple of trips where I got bad news (work related once and the other was family) and I was just miserable. It's like the casino feeds off that vibe and knows you're miserable and is happy to make you more so. :)

    Thanks for sharing the report...
