If you are DT, yeah check it out. Not a go out of your way spot.

I have visited a few times. As MtMongo mentioned, it's a nice diversion while you are downtown. Fun to stop by at a couple of the little bars and have drinks or shop at the venues. Go in the evening to see the flame throwing praying mantis.

Can you walk to it from downtown? How long is the walk?

Just a couple blocks east of the canopy.

We walked down there Dec 27th. Really nice area but it was late and about 34 degrees so it was a ghost town. LOL. They've done a nice job with it. HUGE climbing area and slides for kids. Bunch of small places to eat and a stage and grass area for live music. Friend of mine plays there once a week or so.

Do it - particularly at night so you can see what The Mantis out front is doing.

How'd I forget the Mantis. It wasn't doing much when we were there but then some tour bus stopped by and it really got with it then. Tried to get some pics of it but the flames were way to bright compared to everything else and they were all washed out.

It's cool to see how they use the containers for structure that's about all.

OK, a quick plug for one of the vendors there.

Jinju Chocolates has their retail store in container park. They are on the second floor just a short walk from the elevator.

Jinju chocolates are sold wholesale through many casinos on the Strip, such as Bellagio, Wynn and Caesar's but this is their only retail store.

If you're into "designer chocolates" or simply a "choco-holic", it's worth a visit.

Just my opinion, I think Container Park is a nice diversion if you are spending good length of time downtown. It's a nice change. If your trip time is limited, I would go visit some of the other more popular Vegas sites first.
