All the good SB parties ended in 2004. Casinos use to charge anywhere from $50 to $1000 to cram as many people into their convention centers as they could. That got you an all you can eat spread and drink for the entire game. I went to the Patriots/Panthers game at the LV Hilton convention center and had a blast. Paid $55 for 2 of us and watched the game with 4000 other fans on over a dozen 20 foot and 30 foot screens. Pizza, hot dogs, burgers etc. Draft beer (coke for me).

Apparently the NFL complained and said that the Casinos couldn't charge people to see a free game. So that was the end of "Super Bowl Parties".

Oh yeah. The Hilton ended up re-reimbursing us all too.

    so many to chose from

what is your budget, do you want all you can eat/drink.....there are partys for every fan, but now they are filling up. Every casino/bar is having something going on. Some require a reservation and prepaid, others are game time drop ins.
    repost what your looking for.

We are struggling a bit to find a party that fits our circumstance. One of the four of us is a recovering alcoholic, and my wife doesn't drink because it isn't important to her. I can't see spending $100 per person for a party that offers unlimited booze.

Red Rock has a $50 package at Mercaditos for 2 hour open bar and a taco bar.
Also at Red Rock, the Rocks Lounge for $40 has bottomless drafts of Bud and Bud Light (ugh...) and AYCE pizza, dogs and chips.

Though I am not necesarily looking for a "budget" party, these are acceptably priced considering two will not be drinking. My concern on each, though, is the atmosphereof a Mexican restaurant or a lounge may not be the Vegas experience I am looking for.

    Anyone of any other ideas?

PS - the Vegas Chatter Guide was - for me - easier to read. YMMV.

I think Silverton has a food only deal for 25 if you want alcohol its more. I think Aliante has a similar deal.

Found out that both the South Point (their ballroom) and The D (at the Downtown Events Center) are offering free viewing parties (seating first come, first served) with access to purchase drinks and food.

We are going to Ellis Island again this year. I think its hard to beat for the $$$. I like having a table and being able to hear and watch the game without a bunch of extra BS.

I've gone to that party many years in the past. I agree it's hard to beat for the $$$. It's definitely one I'm considering for this year.

They changed it up a bit for this year. $40 covers your platter of food and all you can drink!

I saw that. Still well worth it IMO. Way less than what you would pay other places.

I find its best to book in advance or you will be watching it in your room or standing looking over some ones shoulder.I used to watch on strip but found town sq , better food and way less money. Its just down from Mandalay Bay well worth the trip.

I would have booked the day the party I wanted was announced. However, my husband hates to plan things in advance. I'm sure once what I want to do is booked he will say he's ready. So frustrating!!!!! :grrr:
I have looked at the Town Square party. The only issue is we do not want to drive to and from a party, otherwise I would totally check that one out.
