How much should you tip washroom attendants?

I've seen a few washroom attendants in Vegas.

Some you feel like you don't need to tip...SOME feel like you need to.

I enjoyed bottle service at Gold Lounge. GREAT SERVICE, VERY Attentive to all details while at the table!!

They had a washroom attendant there that would offer you a shot of men's callonge (however you spell then word for men's perfume, tried to type that bloody word 6 times already!).
The washrooms here were individual little rooms that entered into a small hallway where the attendant was. How much, and how often do you tip this guy?

Also saw one at Brooklyn Bowl. He offered other amenities including smokes. Not sure if that was a pack of an individual - how much do you tip this guy?

I feel blessed to be able to go to Vegas so I tip these guys a couple of bucks if the restroom is clean and they have a good attitude.

I don't like them putting soap in my hands or giving me towels...I can do that myself and it just feels weird to me. But I do drop them a couple bucks.

However I will have the shoe shine guy hook me up if I am not wearing sneakers...

Tilted Kilt has a guy in the washroom, he was quite chatty and handed me a towel so I dropped a couple of dollars in the jar for him.

I used to think they were a waste but after being in disgusting bathrooms at bars/clubs, I appreciate them for helping keep the bathroom clean. I tip $1-2 whenever I bring cash into the bathroom with me.

If the guy helped me out, I'd tip him, up till now I haven't needed any help.

I absolutely hate it when establishments have washroom attendants who are standing there the whole time for tips.

I tip them a buck or two if they get me a handtowel. The bathrooms by the Strip at PH had them years ago...don't think I've seen them recently...but they had mints, single cigarettes etc from what I remember as well.

If they start having cute girls that can help me aim due to drinking too much I may think about tipping.
In fact, if I happen across a bathroom with one of these people in it I tend not to visit it a second time and will find another.
Cleaning the bathroom is one thing but loitering for tips is another.
Next they will have people next to the slots or craps table just to hand your drink to you for a tip.

A buck but only if they hand you something. If you just use the bathroom, wash your hands and leave and dont use their products then no need to pay.

Maybe I'm cheap, but there are some things I just can't tip on. I remember when I went to New York (the actual city, not the Vegas NYNY), after I got out of my cab, there was a hotel doorman who brought my one piece of luggage from the cab five steps to inside the entry door. He made it a point to tell me that someone else would be bringing my bags up to the room. I knew that he wanted a tip. I wonder how much the guy who opens the cab door for you and tells the cab driver where you are going, makes per hour. It doesn't make sense to me; instead of telling the cab driver, I would tell a guy who tells the cab driver.

I didn't think there were people like this anymore... But I would tip them a buck or two. But like one poster said, I'd probably go find another bathroom next time I need to go.

It just seems uncomfortable. I don't need help pissing, shitting, and washing my hands.

I'll give them a buck or lose change if the joint is clean. Nothing if it's dirty and they look like derelicts.

There was one at a place I used to go to. He would stand off in the corner but when you approached the sink he would turn the water on for you, give you the soap and then even hand you paper towels. It seemed annoying but I soon realized I didn't want to really touch anything in the public restroom anyway. I'd give him a buck. He always had a huge stack of cologne as well, which I always assumed he supplied in the hopes of getting a better tip.

I saw one at PUB and thought that was too much. Personally, I'm not a fan of it because I like to be left alone in a bathroom. I'd rather tip and not have him squirt on my hands.
