Ok MLifers - help me out on this one.

I have not given MLife any real play in a couple years. And even when I was staying at Mirage or NYNY it was in my days of Vegas infancy...which means I casino hopped, got minimal offers (Su-Thur comped + small free play and food credits) and more importantly didn't have the bankroll to support a higher level of play.

I took an 18 month hiatus from Vegas and when I went back I have stayed at V/P and Wynn and while I have much more of a bankroll now I haven't given any play to MLife.

So I logged into the website tonight to check rates at Aria for March Madness. Despite being comped for three nights and having the other three at casino rate at Palazzo I wanted to see what the price is at Aria. I really want to stay there.

But up at the top of the page it says my spring offer is $1500 FreePlay but that it is only good through Feb 28 2015 and I must stay at Bellagio.

Obvious question here is...why am I getting this? It makes no mention of comped rooms nor does it allow me to book online...it just says that I need to call Bellagio VIP Services to book.

Second question is....what are the odds that it'll be extended or re-offered past the 28 Feb expiration date? It says spring offer but last time I checked 01 Oct - 28 Feb isn't springtime.

Shed some light on this for me please!

That's a weird one. All the Bellagio offers I've ever gotten included free play in addition to room and food credits.

Ok...so I called them up because the curiosity got me.

What is hilarious is while on hold the song "Out of Touch" by Hall & Oates (Philly guys!) was playing...perfect song since this offer is out of touch for me at MLife, right?

I get the super nice rep on the phone and I mention that I was looking at Aria and I see this offer and she kinda laughs and says "I will be honest but we don't know what's up with that offer. We don't know which hotel it is supposed to be at but it isn't Bellagio."

She went on to explain that for some reason this is showing up in people's accounts who, like I described above, don't have any or much play history with MLife. She said that people have e-mailed screenshots to them and they have forwarded them to the bosses but they are all stumped.

I still may book Aria though...it'll cost me more than the casino rate at V/P for Sat-Tue but I could probably get that wiped off when checking out.

    Thanks for calling and sharing.

The wonderful back office at Mlife strikes again. In most companies, you could call somebody and get those offers pulled off the site.

    Their IT is a joke.

It really is just frightening how bad their IT department is. I have somehow fallen off M Life's e-mail and direct mail list. I still get property direct e-mails and mailings - but for example the cruise notification that comes direct from M Life - I don't get. The corporate offer e-mail, I don't get. Of course, I guess I should just be grateful that I now get corporate offers, because for a long time I wasn't getting those either - and of course no one could tell me why.

I have contacted them numerous times, and they still have not resolved the issue. This has been going on for at least 2 years. They are completely clueless as to why I don't get emails or mailings from them anymore.

I work with databases in my job. If someone were to complain that they weren't getting mailings from us, I could tell them why in 10 minutes - and get the problem fixed.

MLife is just terrible. I have flights booked for the second week of March Madness but apparently all of my offers expire January 31st. I get the same offer every time they roll over but multiple properties have told me I have to wait until the current offers expire January 31st and I officially receive an offer that it good through March 31st.

    Simply put... ridiculous.

1500 free play. Damn, it's worth a weekend to go collect it. Even if it's an error. Book it and fly out for a night!

I just checked & I have the same $1,500 offer on my account! I doubt they will honor it.... Scary if you went & planned this into your gambling budget.

Exactly same boat here. I need a spring offer for that second weekend, too. It's killing me. I just need to call them up.

Jeez, I feel slighted. I'm "just" a Platinum mLifer and I haven't gotten any offers like that.

I'm in the middle of the pack alphabetically. Maybe they haven't gotten to me yet?

    It's a mistake... not a real offer.

Jumped onto Mlife as we are considering postponing our upcoming trip D/T illness... and saw the same $1500 FP offer... call casino VIP to book. It makes no sense as we have not given that kind of play... Also noticed our comp at MC for our stay was changed to a suite... comp rooms added to Mirage - we have never stayed there.

It's odd.... especially as my hubby and I have joint - connected Mlife accounts. His account ALWAYS gets the offers... I NEVER see any on mine. So, to see this was shocking... even the room offers.

So now it's??? should we stay?? or should we go?

Checked mine and I don't have this offer.

You could try booking this offer, but I doubt they'll honor it / let you book it unless you actually have that level of play to warrant $1,500 in FP

I got the same offer two days ago but now my offer has gone . I did use this offer and booked two comp nights before my offer was vanished.

Saw these crazy (for me) offers last night. Today they're gone. I should have tried booking one of them! $1500 freeplay, 3 night suite comp, and VIP Super Bowl party are some that I remember.

How can they rescind an offer if you HAD booked it?

Well that's just it - you could not book it on the website.

The fictitious offer was directing people to call Bellagio VIP services to book. So obviously if you called to book it you would be told it is not a true offer.

That's what I did last night -- because if it was indeed a real offer I would have booked it and had my first stay at Bellagio.

    But the red flags were;

My non-existent play at MLife properties the last couple years.
The offer saying "spring offer" but ending 28 Feb 2015
When you opened the offer it would have all properties listed but said it was Bellagio specific
You could not click on any property to book

I don't think anyone was able to actually BOOK it, so, nothing was rescinded.

Even normal offers are sometimes "sold out" or unbookable.
