I was in vegas last weekend for about 16 hours. Had to get family rooms. I was sitting at bellagio waiting for some people. I threw a 5 into a dollar wheel of fortune game and one spin later. I thought I hit the 1.1 mil jackpot where you need three wheels of fortunes. Little did I know i got 3 spins. I got all excited then Realized nope. DSC_0039.jpg

Yeah c'mon 3 spins on a $1 machine has to be nice, even if it wasn't the 1.1m!

Same thing happened to my wife and I at the Cal last year. It was about 4 am and hit the 3 spins. I went nuts till my wife shows me what the pay schedule looks like. Was bummed , but hit 1000 credits on the spin. Pocketed the G and went to bed.

I would have had a mild heart attack thinking I won.

Definite kick in the nuts on that!

Fuuuuck! That is weak. And the $35 almost feels more insulting than had you won nothing.

    Sorry, man.

Definitely a kick in the nuts. I got kinda pissed off then lost a bunch more on bj. That game moves so fast. Lost quickly.

I had a mild heart attack for a second. Slots are like electronic Crack. Hate them but can't stop

$35 for the spin Plus $1.00 for a blank on lines 4 & 5 = $37. Honestly i think I play these WOF machines just for the awesome sounds. When you line up a "spin" you hear PING, next "spin" PING next "spin" PING! Buzzer! Wheel of Fortune! Bink Bonk Bink Bonk! I'm making the sounds in my head right now as I'm typing this LOL.

I would have thought I won too.
My wife would have screamed if it were her playing. Not sure she would have overcome the disappointment and only getting $37 afterward would have ruined the trip for her.

Once I bet an exacta at the track on a self service machine. I hit, I go to cash my ticket and they say it is not a winner. I asked teller to check it again, nothing...

I look at my ticket and then at my program... I wrote down one thing and typed in another... I felt like an ass. Also it cost me like $100

Hell, you did better than me.....I was playing Pai Gow at Aliante on Thursday morning this week and got 4-5-6- 8-9-10 of Clubs plus Jack of Hearts. If it had been the Joker instead of the Jack (or 7 of Clubs) I would have won the $124,000 Progressive for 7-card-Straight-Flush plus $16,000 on the bonus bet if it had been the 7 of Clubs rather than Joker (the Progressive still pays if you have the Joker in your hand to make the 7-card-Straight-Flush but the Bonus bet differs on how much you get; 8000-1 for the hand WITHOUT the Joker; less if you need the Joker to make the hand)...Crap. That's probably the closest I'm ever going to get to the Progressive at Pai Gow. And I only got paid for a stinkin' flush on that hand since I had the gap in the middle.. Since it was the last hand of the shift and the day shift dealers were all in the pit, the dealer called several of them over to check out this hand...he's never dealt the 7-card-Straight-Flush to anyone and I think that was the closest he'd ever dealt to a player.
