Have really enjoyed hanging out and gambling at the Golden Gate the last few trips to Vegas. Just seems like a very cool vibe and also very friendly. Curious just what sort of action you have to throw their way to at least get a few free nights. Not a High Roller but willing to spend some time and money in a place I enjoy spending time. I know they have a pretty small hotel but also can't imagine that they are bringing in a lot of big time money either. Would appreciate anyone who wants to share their experiences. Not a table games guy. Mostly just play slots, video poker and video keno. Will be downtown a week from tonight and just wondered if it was worth my while to invest some serious time there.

Golden Gate is pretty liberal with their comps. When downtown, I play primarily at their sister casino, the D. The slot clubs are separate but I don't Know if I'm getting some "pull" from my play at the D. I play some, but pretty sparingly at Golden Gate and I'm still getting 3 night offers with $15 at Dupar's and $30 free slot play. This on approx $1000 coin in each time I visit.

I get something similar, it changes from 15 food and 30 free play to 20 and 40, but I think they only offer two nights. No idea about coin in, but I usually lose between three and five hundred at a time. One good thing about their offers is that you get them from the first to the fifteenth of the month, then again from the sixteenth until the end, so you can effectively double you comps, if you go at the middle or end of the month.

I think the Golden Gate is very generous with their offers. I have received 3 free nights several times. The offers I have received had no restrictions (no :)Sun to Thurs only that some of the casinos offer). I have a 3 night trip staying there Thurs to Sun with $20 slot play and $15 food credit booked in February. Great attitude and I like the vibe there.

I agree that GG is very generous with their offers. I am a small time gambler there - usually wagering less than $200. I have been getting their mailers for two months at a time with the above offers - 3 free nights in a month, $15 meal comp and two separate $10 free slot plays during each month. I didn't receive any mailers for Jan/Feb, so I called and was pleased to hear that I did have the same type offers. The reservation clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful and took care of us. We will be staying on a Thurs. - Sat. nights in Feb. on a comp. I'll try to remember to post my review of the room after we get back.
Why not give them some play and if you don't receive a mailer, give them a call. It can't hurt!

I was surprised to see that this most recent mailer I received is for 4 free nights in a suite Monday thru Thursday, or regular room anytime. Since I'm going Saturday thru Thursday this April, I'm looking forward to taking advantage of the offer! Also $25 food and $50 slot play!
