Hey! Taking our 3rd trip to Las Vegas first week in March. First time without the kids (woohoo)! We are trying something new this time and staying at Hotel 32 instead of Caesars. Its always exciting to go to Vegas, can not wait.

Welcome! There are many folks on VMB who live in Texas.

Hubby and I live in a suburb between Houston and Galveston. Which part of Texas do you call home?

We live on the west side of town outside of Katy in Brookshire. I have noticed a lot of people from Texas on the boards. We need to get some Casinos in Texas, maybe the new Gov can persuade the voters.

Can't remember where it was but when visiting family in Kingsville, Texas several years ago, there was a riverboat we went to. It was very old & was not then affiliated with any of the big corps....

    Is that at Monte Carlo?
If so, that is part of MGM. Let us know how your offers compare between MGM and CET after you return.
We have a March trip scheduled as well. Been in Feb the past two years. Hoping the weather is even just slightly nicer in March.

It is at Monte Carlo. I will let you know what we get. LAst year July we stayed at Caesars in a suite and spent 2 or 3 grand in the casino and we never go one thing in the mail from CET. So even if we get one thing from Monte Carlo it will be better than CET. Yeah we are hoping for nice weather in March, from what we researched it looks to be upper 60's-70f. That would be fantastic. Heat really doesn't bother us though after spending 3 years living in Dubai.
