Hard to tell based on room rates.. some places are down in price, others are sky high!

So whats your thought? Is this a busy or slow holiday on the strip?

I would just say normal. We went a few years ago that weekend and we honestly forgot it was even Easter. A few buffets did something special, but other than that it was just business as usual for April.

Probably depends on what is going on besides Easter. We booked that week on purpose this year. Rates at the Mirage were the cheapest we could get for April/May. Wound up being Easter...wasn't trying to book Easter, was just looking at the best rate on a Tower Suite from Sun to Thurs. I remember last year we were looking at Easter also because rates were lower. It can be cool that first week of April but this trip I was going strictly by price.

Well, LV is certainly not a major family destination for Easter/Passover.

I've been there on Easter and it was just another day. No Easter Parade or anything I can remember. I can't remember any Easter decorations or even any "Special Easter Brunch" gouging.

We've been there for Easter in the past and it wasn't much busier than any other weekend. I think the big thing there is that Good Friday and Easter Monday are holidays up in Canada, but not official holidays in the USA... so might be more Canadians running around for their long weekend (our first since New Years Day)

I was looking at the rate calendar today, and starting Easter Sunday through the following week, I was compted at all CET properties except NOBU and Cromwell. I've never had a comp offer for Caesars, and it showed 5 free days for me. So I'm guessing that weeks is looking a bit slow right now. If the weather was a little warmer that time of year, I would jump on that offer.

Vegas not normally too busy in April, weather starting to get nice, most pools are open but a little chilly unless you sit in the sun.

    Easter is April 5th

National Assoc of Broadcasters convention is April 11 - 16, 2015. 80-100k start coming to town around that window. Area hotels and roads around the LV convention center can get busy in the week before as vendors come to set-up booths, satellite trucks, news helicopters, etc.

    See you then

Yes, we go every Easter and it's always a bit slower that week and we always get 5 nights comped at Harrah's, Linq or Rio......and the weather is always GREAT.......high 70's to low 80's and all the pools are open.

We will be there again this Easter for another 5 full nights of SIN CITY U.S.A. :)

We also go every Easter (for the past 15 years), and find it a bit slower as well. Good deals are easy to be had that week (up to April 9th - then conference time). No real Easter set up at the casino, other than mention of supper on Sunday night. I prefer the pace since it is easy to find a table game/slot during the week.
