Do you find the hookup scene easier or tougher than home?

I prefer--by which I mean, PREFER, married women. I live in a city that parades as conservative, but actually features a number of open/pseudo-open/open when drinking/open when out of town women. But I'd hazard a guess that some of you live in less forgiving regions. When I'm in Vegas, I find a reasonable number of ladies who are open to extra-marital exploration. I imagine that a certain number of you, of both genders and all sexual preferences, are seeking such activities when you're specifically in the desert paradise that is this site's namesake.

So my question to you is, regardless of whether you're male or female, do you find the pickup scene better or worse than in Vegas than in the town where you live? Do you like it better in Vegas than where you live? Are you more/less/similarly open to exploration in Vegas than in your hometown?

This is deliberately listed in the after dark section, so those opposed to the concept need not reply, if that's cool.

I have no answer to the query but wondered to what extent one's mood and behavior when in Vegas might be similar to or different from what happens at spring break.

Ive never had a problem talking to women from my home town, so I don't have much issue in Vegas. Everyone (in tourist areas) is there to have a good time and party, so that is a big thing in of itself, everyone is more approachable and open to at least conversation.

I have found that my game is equally ineffective in Vegas as it is at home.

I knew some married women that liked to have extra-curricular activities. While they had fun at home, they double downed this fun when in Vegas.

Based on my experience it is fairly unusual to find a "solo" married women in vegas. Not saying never, but not common. Having said that, there are plenty of opportunities to "hook up", both free & paid at virtually any strip casino from early evening until early morning. Talent can very depending on time of year, and which casino you are in.

I hope you mean "at home" as in your home city, as opposed to your HOME!

    Interesting...
So Las Vegas is not only the Adult Disneyland, but grownup spring break.
Cool. I'm going to use that.

I think Las Vegas has to be better... when I'm there I am pretty regularly getting women asking me if I want a date.

I concur 100%. However, I have found that my money is equally effective in both places :wink2:

I've heard that Vegas is more open. Friends have told me that sometimes married women travel with other married women.

    I'm certain it's your charm! :wink2:

Definitely easier. Vegas never closes, which means there are always people around, and when you have that many people around, the odds go up. One trip there I was up for over 24-36 hours, had gotten drunk, lost most of my money (all this on the first full day there) and wound up at the hotel bar still drinking just because I liked the music playing. Wound up chatting with some married lady who then went up to the room with me. She saw my friend sleeping and went and woke him up for some 3 way action. As soon as my body hit the bed I passed out. In hindsight I am glad I didn't do anything.

Unfortunately, other situations present themselves when I either have a girlfriend or wife. Very seldom does anything present itself when I am single. It is like girls have some sort of weird homing device. (Though I have found that if you are with at least one person of the opposite sex in your group, the odds go up exponentially. It's like people assume you are safe to be with since other girls already trust you.

When I was younger (Im only 36 now) I never had issues meeting people but as I have gotten older and more into shape (round is the shape I am referring to) I do not meet nearly as many people. I am not shy but I do not go out of my way to try either. I can talk to anyone, heck, I work in a casino so I meet all different types. I never make it a goal either, maybe I should.

When I'm in Vegas, I limit my flirting to female dealers and pit-critters, with the occasional CW thrown in.
I know that they are 99% safe - meaning that, at my age - the odds of one of them taking me up on my innuendo & suggestive comments are 99-to-1 against.

(It would be "100%" safe, but for one attractive pit-critter at the Venetian many years ago. She was in her mid-30s, quite attractive & down to earth. I found her extremely alluring...and had I shown up as invited, at 4AM when her shift ended, I might have learned a great deal more about her. Being married, I chickened out. )

1982 at the Stardust. It was about 3:00 in the morning and I was winding down playing keno. I met a real cute keno runner and we hit it off. After her shift we went across the street to the Peppermill for some drinks and breakfast and then back to my room for some ooh-la-la. I was an unattached 20 year old sailor and thought it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Still in my top five fave Las Vegas memories.
