I think MGM kicked Circus Circus and Slots-A-Fun out of their player's club when they started MLife. I still use my old Mirage player's card from before the merger with MB and always surprised that it works.

 

Well circus is not a part of mlife's players club right? So that may be why you missed it...

I find that interesting that they both have chosen to not get a finger in that market too.

Maybe they should buy the Las Vegas Club

 

A few years ago, CET bought Binion's. Binion's owned the WSOP. CET sold Binion's and kept the WSOP.

 

I thought slots-o-fun was demolished.

 

Nope still there. Craps and blackjack tables are gone. Just some slots and beer pong. I don't get it.

They didn't demolish Slots a Fun, they just ruined it.

 

The cookie cutter management style they employ generally won't work downtown. But if the boutique concept is here to stay, it would make sense to renovate a downtown property for the next one.
