I'm taking a couple family members to Vegas soon. Both of them are what I consider to be non-adventurous eaters. I'm looking for a nice place to take them for dinner one evening. I'm willing to try anything, but I know they won't be. So definitely no sushi or anything like that. I would a restaurant at an MGM property.

+1 for Wolfgang Puck's for a nice dinner with good food for the non-adventurous types.

Maybe I am dumb but need a bit more explanation on "non adventurous". Is Italian Mexican Chinese seafood etc.. an option??? Or just simple American is it. If so just about any coffee shop or buffet or even bar that serves basic food would fit the bill.

Me too. :licklips: The Rio buffet on Flamingo Rd. is very good and "reasonably" priced at about $30 per person. If you don't mind a small selection of home-style cooking, try the Silver Sevens on Flamingo Rd in the opposite direction. Buffet is about $15 per person. They are open until 10 pm on friday and saturdays, 9 pm other nights. They also have a cafe open 24-7 where you can even get pigs in the blanket if you want.

Also, the M Resort way down away from the Strip has a pricey but impressive buffet at $45 per person. I was disappointed at the Palms (but their McDonald's is good and open 24-7) and would not even consider the Gold Coast, who even recently raised their prices.

There are dozens of Steakhouses on or near the Strip.
Most non adventurous diners can find something that works in most.
Price ranges vary so you can probably find one to meet your budget.

oooops. Almost forgot to mention the steakhouse at the Hard Rock. Excellent food AND service but it will take $150 to get you dinner for 2.
