I'd suggest the Gold Coast though I am mainly a VP player..The CW's always seem busy filling trays and most of the back section seems to be full of slots.Rio also has many and they appear to be the newer multi-seat ones..Both places are close enough to the strip so no long drives needed.

Assuming you have a car, I would recommend the Silverton. If not, the Palms is probably the best of the near strip casinos.

If you are interested in going downtown, you might want to try Main Street Station.

If you go south to the Silverton, you might also want to try the South Point.

The M Resort, Orleans, Southpoint, and Silverton has a good variety of slot machines in my opinion. Other off-strip properties tend to have more VP machines which is what the locals prefer to play so if you like VP than all is good.

The CW service is iffy at times and the best results for me was at the Orleans.

My two favorite places to gamble are probably the Orleans and the Palms. Good drink service at the Orleans and have had pretty good luck there. Palms can be a little iffy as far as drinks but I've had very good luck there a few times, the cocktail waitresses are cute and, like most anywhere, the casino bars are a great place to play.

I stay on the Strip but give my gambling to both Aliante in North Vegas and Boulder Station on Boulder Highway. I like both of them for table games.

To be more specific, they both have $5 table limits, and I like the graveyard crew at Aliante, and the day pit crew at Boulder. So I get to Aliante most days about 6AM and head over to Boulder at noon.

Hands down for fun and action it's the Orleans. They have countless low limit table games. Great selection of VP games, and every imaginable slot you can think of. Not to mention a really nice poker room, huge and comfortable sports book, and live keno. It has many bars, pretty good drink service, and some cheap eats. And if you're tired and you want to stay, very large rooms and a nice pool, bingo, movies and bowling. For a low roller, the Orleans has it all.

Love the M Resort - good cocktail service. Orleans has many low-limit table games and VP, but it is too smoky for me.

If you play video Poker, forget the Silverton...South Point has much, much better paytables and the slot club points are worth 3x as much as Silverton.

Add another vote for the M Resort and Orleans - love them both. Great variety of games and the buffet at the M Resort is excellent.

Finally hit a royal at the Gold Coast this December trip, after playing there for quite a few years probably 40 + days of play. Always enjoy playing there.

I've become a fan of Palms. I make a point of playing there even on trips when I'm staying elsewhere.

Last couple trips we spent some time at South Point. Had a great time. Low table minimums, friendly dealers, and a very fun vibe. Looking forward to going back in April.

Orleans, Palace Station and Sante Fe Station. All have great CW service, low (5/10) limits and inexpensive buffet!
