Going to Vegas in February. We are staying at the Flamingo. Wondering if it would be a fun place for drinks and munchies before going out on the town.

I have...via a Groupon. I wasn't impressed, and would have been pissed if I paid full price. And the thing I ordered in particular was very misleading on the menu. I thought I was getting chicken breast...I get a half bone-in chicken instead...:with both white and dark meat. I see they haven't changed the description on the menu (BBQ Chicken).

And just casually googling it...one of the lowest yelp ratings I have ever seen.

We ate there shortly after it opened and we were not impressed either. We really enjoyed C&C when we were in Mexico and though we'd try it in LV-big disappointment. It does have a fun atmosphere though and I'm sure it would be fine for drinks and snacks.

I've eaten there twice, add me to the "not impressed" group. I had the tortilla soup and it was decent, but the other meals I had left a lot to be desired...Like above poster mentioned it has a fun atmosphere and we had a fun night on the patio with the bartenders out there. The drinks were ok and I think they have some sort of happy hour on margaritas too (the frozen ones from the machines, but they were good). We used it as a place to start off the drinking.

Yeah, not good, drinks not strong, food not good, and someone was cursing out the manager the time I went, and the manager was taking it, so they were in the wrong.

    Do Margaritaville instead.

You could not pay me to eat there. I've heard nothing but horrible things.

    Definitely do Margaritaville instead.

They've had a location in Austin forever and I've done my best to avoid it for the last 23 years.

If I don't go there in Austin you shouldn't go there in Vegas.

Take a cab or rent a car and go to http://eldoradovegas.com/.

    You won't be disappointed.

If it is happy hour and 2 for 1 drinks - they are ok. We ate there and I got nachos. The waitress raved about them --They were not great. The nachos and drinks were better at the Harley Davidson Cafe. I am from San Antonio and I have yet to find good Mexican or Tex Mex in Las Vegas. Margaritaville sounds better than Carlos and Charlies's

So I guess that will be a "no" then.
