    My Trip Report

I thought I would give a trip report a try.

I am currently on a Southwest flight from San Diego to Kansas City.

My host at Harrah's Rincon in San Diego at the begining of the football season asked if I wanted to go on a trip to see the Chargers play in KC and my reply was, hell yes.

The trip included air fair, hotel at Harrah's North KC and seats to the game in KC.

I think we might be in the Suite at the KC game.

There is a group of 10 players, thier guest and two hosts (mine included) on the tirp.

I will try to get tapatalk working to post live.

    GO CHARGERS!

Can anyone suggest a place for BBQ for Saturday? I am thinking of getting a rental car.

Good luck and nice timing since the game means something!

VP @ NKC sorta sucks though, and really sucks vs. Rincon. There is ONE full pay machine in the high limit room but also wants $50 coin-in per tier credit. Here's a list of the best VP they have...I last updated this in July.

For tables, they do have High Card Flush and Texas Shootout though! That latter game is really difficult to find.

If you would somehow have a car, I would also check out Ameristar KC, and possibly Hollywood at KS Speedway. Nicer places, imo. Ameristar KC has a lot better quarter games including bartops, but you have to pay for your drinks in Missouri and Kansas so that's a bit of a moot point. :(

Not Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ. My g/f and I were disappointed as I picked it since it was listed by someone on the net as #1...lol

We haven't tried it, but I have heard many people like Oklahoma Joe's, now known as Joe's KC BBQ.

Also another well known BBQ place in KC is Arthur Bryant's. But once again, we never set aside the effort to try it, so I can't claim anything personally. This establishment also has a location at the outlet mall right near Hollywood at KS speedway.

Hopefully someone who has tried these places or somewhere else can give a thumbs up or down on these...lol

You need to hit some "rotate clockwise" option...

    Otherwise, good start!

9/7 DB (or 9/7 Double Aces & Faces) is a bitch to play. 9/6 Double Double Aces and Faces is their 2nd best game at 99.46%, so I'd play that before 9/7 Double bonus variants. Holding one high card and it turning into a premium quad makes a difference. Also since face cards are kickers, you should hold things like AK, AQ, AJ offsuit over an Ace only. The rest of the strategy is basically DDB.

    Keep the hits coming!
