Someone give all differences please? Considering both for NYE and need to pull the trigger on tickets for one or the other. We will not be able to afford a table. Love the idea of seeing world class DJ like Calvin Harris but also wife is a Bruno Mars fan. Can you see fireworks from both? Need a host for both (with tickets?) Wife wants to have fun and dance but not be slammed up against tons of people . . so crowded you can't move. At tryst can you go back and forth to XS?

Wouldn't touch Hak with a 10 foot pole w/o a table and now add Calvin Harris on NYE. No way would I even consider going there on that night.

If you have tix you will not need a host but you will need to get there early to wait on line.

Each club is separate with a separate fee/cost to enter. I don't think a host will be of much assistance that night unless you are willing to tip an enormous amount for them to accommodate you when you want to leave XS to go to Tryst or vice versa...on NYE no less.

If I was in your exact situation, happy wife = happy life. Bruno it is and enjoy the night.

Hak without a table is brutal...no place to sit, no view, jam packed with people...no fun at all.
Usually if you go to Tryst theyll let you move over to XS without a problem AFTER a certain time....NYE though might be different.
XS is always awesome...gorgeous, spacious, great crowd, with places to sit.
Id go to Tryst if u want to see Bruno Mars and hope afterwards you can scoot over to XS for Zedd. if not its still a great place.
the guys over at jackcolton.com might have more info.

What about the distance from Tryst/XS to Mandarin Oriental? Is that doable? I understand there is no transportation at all?

If I understand your question, your basically asking the distance from MO to Wynn/Encore. That's a long walk, but doable. But its Vegas. There is always transportation. Just grab a cab

Strip closes down by 6PM this year and hotels won't let you in w/o a room key later in the night before the fireworks. One report says soon after 5 PM the strip will be closed.

Whatever club you go to plan on going to you should should be staying until after the fireworks.

It's not like your normal weekend in Vegas where you can grab a cab and bounce around. With the strip closing down completely by 6 pm so people can start piling in for the fireworks means back roads at best for a cab if you can find one, which is slim to none since most hang out in the front of the hotels that are on...the strip which is closed to traffic. They also have to clean up the strip after the party so the strip may not re open until???

The fireworks will be set to music and fired from the roofs of 7 Hotel Casinos: MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian and the Stratosphere .
