As a CET Platinum member, do I need to pay resort fees? You know, I'm not going to consider going to a hotel that charges resort fees, I'll pay $50 per night to go somewhere else. Charging resort fees is ridiculous, they should add the fee to the room and call it an all in cost. What do you get for the resort fee - spotty wifi and access to a spa I don't use?

Think that sums up the majority of beefs. You're welcome, ken2v.

I'll endeavor to limit my use of the term "1st World Problem."

Other than that, I have no other vices to give up - none, nada, zilch....

I am no longer going to read ANY threads with the words "sushi" or "party" in the heading. Much like all those adult magazine subscribers back in the day, I will only be looking at the pictures and skip the articles. Or something like that.

I read an excerpt from a book called "Give and Take: Why Helping Others Drives Our Success" by Adam Grant, a Professor from Wharton. It's something I have always known for awhile, there are folks out there who are givers and those who are takers. I'm staying away from the latter group of folks who live on one way streets.

Although I did want to let people know that if you check in with your stroller-bound kid, and he's puffing away on a cancer stick, they will waive your resort fees!

So are a lot of people, but if they can grab one or two $20 tricks each hour they're doing pretty well.

    lol.

I think it's fair to say what people make in the job they choose isn't something I feel responsible to backfill simply because.

And in a similar vein, I will ...

Quit poking fun at the Hopeless9ers.

No longer call Jameis Winston Heinous Jameis because thug or not, it is obvious I was wrong and he's actually a respectable upstanding representation of Florida State Nation and Tallahassee law enforcement.

Embrace wherever it is Jim Harbaugh ends up, knowing it will last only four years.

Cease and desist all the McHa$$ah'$ quips in any reference to the once-great empire that was Caesars.

Leave my Tiger voodoo doll in the closet as that magic no longer is needed.

And in a more serious vein, I will say thanks to the many participants here!!!!

Probably a good idea since no good will come out of responding or discussing it.

There are words to those threads? Sorry, I just look at the pictures, lol.
