I like hash house a go-go. The portions are HUGE. We generally share an entree.

I enjoy eating at HHAGG and always take my crew there for breakfasts before golfing. I think it's worth the drive there... Enjoy!

Wife makes sure we end up eating there every trip. Never had a bad meal (or a small portion!)

I love their chorizo hash! I am lucky in that one of the area casinos has a hash house too, so I always get the hash when I'm there, day or night. Prices are fair, and I saw some lady get her maxi dress caught in the escalator on the way there through the Quad, so between the food and the antics on the way there, it was worth the trek.

Have never been to HHAGG---not to sure I ever will get there. But judging from what I have read on this board and elsewhere, if my wife and I make it there, one entrée will certainly likely more than do for both of us. Question: TIP?? Would 15% or 20% on the total bill before tax be adequate?

LOL about the dress... I've been to the Quad location once or twice but prefer going to the W. Sahara location... Think the service and food are a little better. Also at the Quad location, last time I visited there they offered priority seating for CET Platinum and above. Haven't been there in ages so not sure if they still do that or not.

Yes, one entrée will probably feed 2 - if not, add an appetizer or extra bkfst side item. The tip probably needn't
be any different than what you'd ordinarily tip, - if you're concerned that it's only 20% of $15 or so, feel free to add a buck or two. Like everywhere else, tip for good service, not because you only had one entrée.

Service there has been good for us so we always tip at least 20%.

    Also... bacon waffle. Oh yeah.

From a european perspective i have a hard time seeing why HHAGG get so much love. I have lived in the states for over 4 years and appreciate american breakfast as much as the next guy. But to me HHAGG pretty much stand for quantity over quality so i just cant see why people go there especially considering how many great options there is in Vegas for breakfast.

Plaza location. Never been but wonder if comparable in size / quality / accessibility to the others (W. Sahara / Quad(?) )....planning on hitting peppermill for one breakfast but wanted another similar if possible....thanks

I'm glad I'm not the only dissenter here! I've been there twice now (should have learned the first time!) and not impressed. There are MANY places that are better for a good American breakfast. Blueberry Hill comes to mind immediately. Peppermill is another. The things I remember most were the breakfast potatoes being almost totally black and majorly overseasoned! The biscuit was hard, not flaky, and had a sprig of rosemary impaled in it. I had an after-taste of pine-sol all morning!

I don't necessarily understand the attraction of huge expensive portions, but if that's what you're interested in then go for it.

No. HHAGG isn't worth it for anything. Insane portions of sub-standard food with surly service.

    Eat anywhere else.
